Server 1 closed for unknown reasons, which means 2 is crowded... don't expect to be able to play laglessly.

Went into test server, first time I logged in I had the option to choose either a quick battle, CP, CTF, TDM or DM. I chose CP, and it took forever to load, so I refreshed the page and I ended up being in a CP battle... So sorta matchmaking..? without actually matchmaking xD No more lobby lists?! :(

 

Then I decided to exit and went to lobby again... and everything was the usual thing like it is now o.O

its a mixture of matchmaking and unified battle list - choose whichever you like!

but the big question is: can you enter the matchmaking battles through the unified list? i think the 2 are separate battles, but don't know how to test.

if this is true, its definitely better than only matchmaking.

My ultimate want was a Unified Battle List that could be filtered by battle and rank. Matchmaking is something that I really don't want - those waiting lines, being randomly assigned to battles and all that ... I don't like it, I'll be honest. However, the mix between Matchmaking and Unified Battle List sorta reaches a nice medium which is cool.

okay i found some more info.

 

i clicked on the quick battle thing and got sent into red alert TDM.

But in the battle list, there's no red alert TDM.

 

This means that you can't enter the matchmaking battles, through the unified list.

So placing mults in the matchmaking battles is impossible, but its possible in the unified list.

 

But I think they might change it, because under the battle list description, it says you can't do missions in them, but I was actually able to do them in the test server.

Your battle had expired and disappeared before you entered battle list, that's why you couldn't find it. It's NOT a matchmaking.
