  1. 1. Do you think Hornet, DIctator and Mammoth are UP?

sorry but... hornet doesn't have better acceleration than wasp, i took this from the wiki

That's an old video from like 2015. If you look at the current values on the wiki Wasp has worse power and worse reverse acceleration than Hornet.

Straight from the Tanki Wiki at: https://en.tankiwiki.com/In_depth:_Game_Mechanics

Acceleration (Power) — affects the time it takes for a tank to reach its maximum speed, and is related to its ability to push other tanks

so mammoth has higher acceleration than wasp? i don't know, it has more power. you need to take weight into account

use F=ma to find they're acceleration rates and you'll see wasp accelerates more

Real life physics doesn't apply in Tanki. On the wiki it says power is m/s2, which is units of acceleration. Yes, Mammoth has better acceleration than Wasp, but much lower top speed.

that's not possible, anyone who has used mammoth and wasp would know that

Having used Mammoth and Wasp, I disagree.

EDIT: Actually this is a confusing thing. Mammoth has better acceleration, but worse reverse acceleration. This means it takes longer to get to it's top speed, but easier to change directions for Wasp.

I think if you were going for an analytical article, you should've gone more in-depth. I'd have enjoyed to see more of your opinions because frankly, the three mentioned hulls are almost obsolete, their counterparts are much better. Mammoth is almost completely useless in comparison to Titan (Titan wins in pretty much everything except a little bit of armour. Titan has less power but can push Mammoth due to hidden values), Hornet can actually hold its own versus a Wasp but when mastered, I think Wasp beats Hornet. Dictator is just absolutely useless now, its shape always made it a very uncomfortable hull to use and now its statistics render it almost useless, apart from Gold Hunting.

Aaaanyway, that was just my opinion. :D

TL:DR - would've like to see more but it was a good article. :)

but titan has more power than mammoth in the wiki, didn't he say in this article that mammoth has better acceleration than titan?? so what the truth?

It is definitely harder to hit a Dictator than a Viking, but it makes almost no difference when comparing Hornet and Wasp.

??? Big tall and long Dictators are huge targets. Viking is low and can go "hull down" much more effectively.

---

I use Hornet and Wasp every day. Hornet accelerates faster. No question.

Viking also accelerates quickly, specially reverse. If you want to dodge, you need reverse acceleration.

Mammoth is good for some turrets but if you are fighting at closer ranges with cannon-type turrets Titan's maneuverability wins out.

Seems no one mentioned maneuverability so far in tie thread.

I meant it's easier to hit Dictator than Viking. Typo.

And yeah, Hornet > Wasp in almost every respect.

According to an official representive of Tanki, there are hidden parameters which affect this push power. Not all parameters are shown, in-game nor in Wiki. This is something that we (Wiki Editors) don't even have access to it. Though, it may be worth putting it in the "Interesting Facts" for the Mammoth/Titan pages.

e.g. Transmission gear ratios. :)
