Nitro slightly decreases reload time

This is pretty self explanatory. Speed boosts cost just as much as double damage or double armor in the garage. But lets face it: nitro is just not as good as the other supplies. Even Tanki admits to this. You don't have to wait as long after activating nitro to activate another supply as you do with double armor and double damage.

 

What I'm suggesting is a faster reload time. The percentage of time off could be decided by someone other than me. But wouldn't it be nice to activate a nitro and have your rail reload a bit quicker?

The chances of this idea being implemented in the game is quite low, if not VERY low for a rather simple reason(s). Each of the supplies brings a certain unique characteristic to the game, though if the Speed Boost were to be given additional attributes, it would throw the entire system off. Each supply brings a certain special aspect to the table, and in some senses, Double Damage does what you are suggesting be added to the Speed Boost. I say this not in a literal sense, but rather that the hull is given a potential to move faster with one supply, and to be further protected by another supply, and the turret may even deal extra damage with an additional supply, but to give the one supply a greater advantage over the rest, and potentially over power the turret is not appropriate for the goal of balance that Tanki Online is attempting to achieve.

 

Micro-upgrading the parameter gives you a slightly less reload time, as you know. MUs cost a lot of crystals. Buying speed boost just costs 50 crystals and players will buy it to decrease their turret's reload time. This  will mess things up. Even if the price for Nitro gets increased, still the prices of the other supplies will have to be increased too, and newbies will not be able to buy supplies.

What do you mean not as good? its far easier to capture a flag with nitro than double armour. and it's possible to not take a single shot from twins if you use wasp with nitro. Also, nitro gives you many shortcuts, take mone carlo for example, with nitro you can jump straight from middle to enemy flag and back saving you from running 4 lanes to and fro in total. nitro also helps you to not step on mines completely in some cases.

Or, if you have my luck, break really fast on Space Mode and fall forwards into it.
