Both were pretty easy. Just browse the wiki.

For people who REALLY give up, PM me. Will try to respond soon.

Come on! How am I supposed to know the map of the event of the first Saturday of August?

This is done only for those that are always doing events, event helpers and their friends. How are does facebook events preventing people abandoning the game? They are a waste of time, just like this contest, except for those that are in the inner circles.

Why don’t you look at the forum events page more carefully? I have never entered an official event, and yet found the answer as easily as I would find out when you were last active in the account you just posted in. Edited by maryam98

With time you'll eventually find the answer, but that particular question is very easy for those that are familiar with that event. Meanwhile regular players who don't participate in fancy events, don't read forum newspapers, who only mostly play are at a disadvantage. Maybe when they talk about community they don't include regular players.

What is next, questions about forum games?

Marc already explained that this quiz was aimed at those familiar with the nooks and crannies of the Forum, Wiki, and Help Site. That means that those who mostly play and don't use forum much are not expected to do very well or fast.

Then they should not post this in the News and Discussion section, and the rewards should not be crystals, but maybe forum stickers, fancy paints or fancy gifts.

But would you say the same for newspaper contests? Many of them are also for the forum users, and all for the newspaper readers.

Yep. Contests that are not done for the entire playing community should not have crystal rewards, or have very minimal crystal rewards, they should be for the entertainment of those that like those contests, in other words, for fun.

If this contest was somewhere else and the reward was, let's say, Flow paint for a month, I would have not care to participate, but others would have still done it and enjoyed it.

But those contests require a lot of effort, and also are often carried over to the real life of tankers, unlike playing.

First player I heard saying we should not be getting crystal rewards for contests like these... :P But then again, paints are in-game too... forum stickers don't exist as of now, and if you mean like avatars, tbh I prefer we keep them for official helpers, as it will just confuse new guys... And gifts, well, I personally wouldn't find any motivation to join a contest and do all that hard work for a 'gift' (which is basically, an image and a small text) which says I won a contest...

Just my opinion tho :/

And take, for instance, a contest like the birthday bake a cake contest. That would not be done, except by some people who simply wanted a reason to bake a cake, of the prize was only a paint, wheter or not it is special.

Damn, some of this was hard. I spent about 5 minutes on the Lhamster question alone!

That was easy, you just had to look at the meet the team in the news archive

Or you can do what I did, which was to go to the Newspaper Archive, scroll down to the "Retired Reporters" section and find Lhamster and the list of articles that he wrote (handily arranged in chronological order).

Yeah, that was actually what I meant- the retired is just below the meet the team.

I guess "Describe this in 100 words" shouldn't have crystals rewards. I mean, not everyone has good grammar or can write well. Indeed, the only contests that would give out crystals are those that are ones like, "Get Highest K/D", or "Get a certain number of crystals".

Oh RIP that's what the hint meant... I got it via using the search option and looking at each one's publishing date...

I know I failed this one due to one question that says the first Saturday in Sept . which was Sept 2 and what is listed on the event page is not listed in the contest , so I tossed in the towel and lost again this week...

I think you should take a closer look at the question.

Flow's origianl name was not any of them... It was announced as <<FLOW>>

It’s not a trick question. It’s also not wrong.

First of all, Event Helpers aren’t even allowed to participate, lol. Additionally, I did say this contest would give people who know the Forum well an advantage. Most people can’t remember all that stuff off by heart, it’s about knowing where to look.

I knew 0 of the answers by heart I think, and managed to do it under 25 minutes (just :p ). It wasn’t a case of knowing the answers, it was more about being able to find them, and knowing HOW to find them easily.
