CLARIFICATION:
This time, I opted for a different approach to announcing winners - everything was randomised except for the single quickest person. This was previously requested to be implemented and we may or may not use this system in future according to player feedback.

ANNOUNCEMENT:

We have decided to cancel next week's Quiz due to the sheer business of the team, not to mention the fact that The GAME will keep you guys occupied. Sorry, but we hopefully made it up by offering a large (normal Specially-Themed) reward for easy Quiz.

Marc, how is this fair?

I won within the consolation 50, and I am grateful, but the system you have used is very unfair. Why should the assorted 35 get 5k more even though we got the same number right and time was not a factor?

If everyone was picked randomly expect the fastest player, then surely the rest should get equal rewards?

The 'assorted 35' were simply just chosen randomly before the consolation 50?

One of 2 things would make it fair:

1. Everyone gets 15k (lower end of prize spectrum) except the fastest player who gets 20k (or more for being fastest)

2. Everyone gets 17.5k (in middle) except fastest player who gets 20k

I personally disagree, but you are entitled to your opinion.

Its only in massive fund battles that a gold can be dropped to distract attention and you will make those 1k crystals back by capping a flag or capping some points, and if you are in a supplies-on game with a massive fund, then the supplies you will have used to get a high score in that battle will counteract the massive reward you will get at the end.

If you are in a massive fund no supplies battle, then you wil not be able to use that gold box to divert attention, so the gold cannot be used for strategic puposes. Hence, 15k >10 gold boxes

tbh I dont like this assorted & consolation approach either, the fastest & random approach is solid one (I might have made more 5k by being in the top 35 if this approach was used) ( might have not - I submitted around 60 minutes after quiz went live xD)

Do winning accounts @tankerjim & @tankerjane belong to same person?

Also @M3GOLDTANK has been chosen twice as 36th & 44th winner in the Consolation 50 winner list

As I said, this was an experiment but going off feedback, I don't think we'll pursue it.

I checked with superiors and yes, they do, both DQ'd (but no one else will be chosen due to high prizes anyways)

But sharing answers is the problem. It doesn't matter if you both do the quiz but you shouldn't share answers. Thats what leads to being DQ'ed.

if your with friends in the same house , how can this be against the rules , its like your talking out loud to a friend or family member , this is a normal thing . its not like your posting in pm or open chat , clan chat . this falls under live open chat room discussion ..

For me 10 golds has alot more value than 20K crystals.

Events and rankup parties are fun with golds...

20K can easily be earned in 3-4 days but goldbox can't be earned.

I get golds very rarely because I'm a f2p player.
