Why is it that in the easy and medium difficulty challenges people are gaining 11/12 and in the hardest everyone does it right  :huh:

The Easy, Medium, Hard classification is a very rough estimate of with how much difficulty an average player would find answers to the questions within the game's official platforms.

 

Usually the easier quizzes emphasizes on the 'thinking' part meaning you would have to pay greater attention to the wording of questions and options, once you understand the question it'll be easy to find an answer.

 

While the harder quizzes focus more so on the difficulty of finding answers, so for example you would have to dig through the newspaper archives to find an answer or look through a long list of updates.

It also differs with who makes the quizzes, sometime me sometimes Marc. Inconsistencies with the difficulty are inevitable which is why we have a great team of proofreaders who offer their thoughts as to wether a classification is fair or not.

no wait, actually i got the containers one wrong... but that question which asked what got counted on my profile when i registered my account... i registered in late march this year so it should be all of the above;

was my name tried for the random 40? because it should have been..

the right but unpopular thing would be to  count those who put all of the above as right and re do the  top and random 40. but if you don't want to deal with people who won before and didn't win the second round then give those who should have been counted 11/12 but got counted 10/12 an equal chance of getting into the random category...for example had the probability of getting into the random 40 been 1/20 then give them that hance to win.

 

if it's too late to add these people to the reward list you can add them to next week's one.

I cannot do that unfortunately. There is a set limit of winners each week which cannot be exceeded and it would be unfair to everyone who is in the current list to be removed. Had the mistake been spotted earlier I could have excluded it entirely from being considered. 

 

There is no perfect solution and all I can do is apologise and prevent it from happening again.

I missed the containers one even though I noticed and asked about the tricky wording (no reponse to my question <_<) and the one about the stats collected because of the wording. I feel cheated.

Players are always selected from the next best scoreset if there is an insufficient number of 100% scoring participants.
