I can quote too...

Well, not everyone has brains.

The majority of people in the world are useless, brainless, dumb people (no offence, but this is just the result of evolution having stopped after the agricultural revolution). If a person cannot do an activity that is rewarding, that shows that they don't deserve it (or weren't lucky enough), it doesn't show that the activity doesn't deserve existence. Your argument is like this: "Not everyone can get into Howard, hence Howard university shouldn't exist."

The benefits are HUGE. For example, let's take the matter of overdrives. When the feature was released, the vast majority of players had no idea of it's existence, and those who did found these players to be mults. If only these ignorant players were on the forum, they would have known about the feature, and the game would have been 50 times more enjoyable.

Tanki is a game, not a Library, nor a way of life. Of course those that visit the Forum will learn more about the game and use that knowledge to their advantage, but that advantage shouldn't be earning crystals in the forum.

My question is, what benefit Tanki gets from allowing players to earn a lot of crystals in the forum? Those players are already hooked on Tanki.

Check this...

Noob kid , I have earned more crystals from the Forum than you have got from playing the game , Don't mess with me !

Nobody doubted your ability to quote, lol.

Yes, I see what you mean, but look. Each contest is trying to reward a set of people, each set having different skills and talents. These contests simply just happen to share a common audience.

Also, I don't see a problem with awarding crystals. Tanki itself is not directly benefitting, yes, but it's not suffering harm, right? Maybe it does reduce the need of buying for some people who are very talented at some things, but Tanki really has no choice. Every game (almost, if not all) holds such community contests. There is really a lot of competition out there. Hope you get the point. Sorry if I wasn't elaborate enough, I am feeling sleepy..

Besides, it's not like only a certain group of people can learn about the game. Anyone can read the history of the game or browse through the wiki every once in a while. I feel like TTC is really a learning experience, where it encourages people to know more about the game. You're literally LEARNING about the game that you love, with crystals as a bonus. Don't see a problem.

Frankly, it's an advertisement of how hard the wiki editors work, that's why it is held every time only by wiki editors

Hey, so I submitted a response, that was named Possibility, that was my real one.

Then I recorded another one for my video called This is a trick question. I'm sorry if this caused anything bad to happen to my score or my winnings. Here:

what does fastest 10 means

1- peoples who finished the quiz in the fastest time

2- or peoples who were the 10 who finished it before everyone regardless of time

It means the Fastest 10 people who also got full marks. ;)

Can anyone tell me how much time did I take

You were in 414th place, got 7/12 and took 2 hours, 41 minutes and 2 seconds.

Wait a min, won both golds and random 40? That's kinda unfair, defeats the purpose...

Yep he got both. It doesn't really defeat the purpose imo but I think the system could be improved. Somewhere down the track, I may decide to award the Gold Box winner exclusively to some of the unlucky people who missed out on winning but got all right.

Noob kid , I have earned more crystals from the Forum than you have got from playing the game , Don't mess with me !

Please stop flaming. Take it to PM if you wish. He wasn't violating any rules, you shouldn't have been so overconfident, sometimes it's better to be humble when you do well (or think you did). :)

Technically, Issho had like 4 positions or something like that at the time of hosting TTC. Just ironic that I happened to take over I guess.

Marc, can you tell me if i was just unlucky or i got any wrong?

Just unlucky. :(

I counted your result. I don't really care about the video because there's no stopping it, really. Also, you didn't win because you got a question wrong. You got the Speed-Up question wrong, you put "200 crystals."

Just spoke to Momo, winners will be sent their crystals on Monday. Also, it's not really necessary to PM anyone but if you really want, you can PM myself and . ;)

News Rules Added:

Q: I think I have got all the correct answers! May I share it with others?
A: Quite simply - no, you may not. There will be no posting of answers in this thread or they will be hidden. You may post your answers once the Quiz is over and closed but not whilst it is still open.

Q: What is the maximum amount of rewards I can receive?

A: Provided you were in the Winners Pool, you may only win a maximum of two rewards - either as a "Top x Participant" and/or "Lucky Gold Box Winner" or as a "Random x Participant" and/or "Lucky Gold Box Winner."

If the challenge is for all players, then it should be done in a way that is balanced for all players, questions like "who cheated such topic" and "what was the map of that event in that date" are easy for forum addicts and event addicts (no offense) and hard for regular players.

When others are earning crystals in forum, it is a problem for regular user, because they will be encountering more fully MUed tanks/players on top of regular buyers.

Sorry but your statements don't really contribute anything. If you're saying that the questions are too "difficult" and require too much searching, well, that's the entire point of the Contest, hence the name "Tanki Thinking Challenge."

Difficult for some, easy for others. Difficult for regular players and easy for regular forum and event participants.

That isn't my problem nor is it yours. Nothing is stopping from becoming a regular Forum user/Event participant.

You're practically arguing that exams are unfair because normal students are disadvantaged, whilst people who go above-and-beyond to learn more and thoroughly understand their course are advantaged and thus, exams should be fairer. It's not my fault that people exceed expectations and aren't just "run of the mill" players.

The real equivalent would be that of a teacher asking questions from a class he made with some of the students that stayed after school hours.

Then the teacher would say "no one is stopping you from participating after school hours", "and you can find the answers in the books", and "go above and beyond" when someone complains. Very romantic.
