Browser Set For TO Client.

Recommended Posts

Hey, everyone, I am back with another idea, Lets Go:

So, my idea is to have the ability to set the browser you want the TO Client to open when clicking on a link that opens a site. For instance, if I click on the forum after opening the TO Client, the client opens Internet Explorer which I don't like because of its slowness.Consequently, what I think is that you should be able to choose which browser the game will open after the opening part of the TO Client.

Thanks for viewing my topic.

hey maf. XD

You can do this by changing your default browser in your settings. Depending on which windows you are running, I will list them all below and the Client should open links to whatever browser you chose.

Windows 10:

When you upgrade to Windows 10, you may inadvertently reset your default browser to Microsoft Edge. Follow these steps to change a default browser back to any browser you like.

  • Click the menu button and choose Options.
  • In the General panel, click Make Default
  • The Windows Settings app will open with the Choose default apps screen.
  • Scroll down and click the entry under Web browser. In this case, the icon will say either Microsoft Edge or Choose your default browser.

Choose whichever browser you have downloaded and it should change to that.

Windows 8:

    • On your computer, click the Start menu .
    • Click Settings .
    • Open your default apps: Original version: Click System Default apps. ...
    • At the bottom, under "Web browser," click your current browser (typically Microsoft Edge).
    • In the "Choose an app" window, click Google Chrome.

Windows 7 and Windows Vista:

    • Open the Control Panel.
    • Choose Programs, and then beneath the heading Default Programs, click the link Set Your Default Programs. ...
    • Choose from the list the program you want to use as your web browser.

Windows XP:

    • Open the Control Panel's Internet Options icon.
    • Click the Programs tab.
    • Choose an email program from the E-Mail drop-down list.
    • Add the check mark by the item Internet Explorer Should Check to See Whether It Is the Default Browser. ...
    • Click OK.

Mac:

    • Open Safari (yes, open Safari even if you want to use another app as your default browser)
    • Pull down the 'Safari' menu and choose to open 'Preferences' (or just hit command-,)
    • Click the 'General' tab.
    • Choose the default web browser you would prefer to use.
    • Quit Safari, and you're done.
