Catching a gold is hard work for us noobs   so it would be cool if we could get an Overdrive activated.

Seconded by a fellow noob :ph34r: But this idea has to have a rank limit. Cos legends who catch a gold will then activate there overdrive to everyone on their team and this would be mega battle destruction ._.

With the right equipment and timing, yes. Any Hull can catch a Gold. :)

yah any hull can catch a gold but... for people who use shaft mammoth we play on big maps because of shaft and are always too fat and slow to search the map and find the drop zone on time. and because we are so stable, big and heavy it's hard to jump onto someone else and always end up getting jumped onto.

 

okay if you think it's such a good idea implement it after the new overdrives get released, not before ;) I'll see how you like it when i kill you with death touch, steal your gold and then get death touch to kill you again.

I'd rather not catch the gold box which gives 1000exp&crys since I have a crys/exp ratio still greater than 1.

Wasp and Mammoth would greatly benefit from this. They would get a lot of kills if they immidiately activate it upon taking the legendary Gold Box.

Marking this completed since we have the nuclear energy supply. And since there already is a (somewhat rare) box that gives you OD when you catch it, there is no way the same mechanic will also be added to gold boxes.
