Seems pretty efficient, and how about the following question, since clan licenses have never got sales before, am I to assume rename passes won't either? Also, will changing in-game clan tag and in-game clan name become similar to the rename pass?

I don't know what's the price for europeans but 100k crystals costs 30 euros. that's a lot more than 18 USD. for those non buyers complaining you're probably also those crybabies who cry about how this game is so pay to win. name change doesn't do anything to help you in battles okay. They want to spend 18 USD that's their problem, their name change isn't going to affect you. You like to waste 100k you earned then don't cry about getting outmatched by buyers.

wow... the amount of negative reactions I see in the comments is... actually sad.

 

I have a question for all of you upset players. How does this update change gameplay? All that the nickname change does is give you a name you might like at a particular time. "At a particular time" because everyone usually changes over time. You decide you want your name to be "HornetMan" now, but in about 2 years time you might want a name like "TrumpIsOverParty".

 

You may want to stop thrashing at Tanki for every update that seems to be given for buyers only... There might be multiple reasons for everything. If it doesn't disrupt your gameplay, it shouldn't even be bothering you. 

 

 

 

P.s, I myself wanted to change my nickname after I get m4 Ricochet-Viking, and I don't plan on spending over 15 euro for anything online that doesn't benefit me in real life. However, I personally don't care about this update, as it doesn't change the way I play. It just means I'm stuck with the nickname I created in 2014 :P #DealWithItSituation

Rename Pass is a new feature, and your feedback shapes how it will be developed or changed in the future ;)

 

For now, clan names are not using the new rename system.

I just hate the fact that the game i loved is now governed by people like this man. It used to be so much better, people used to fight for crystals, but i guess tanki was just given to a bunch of amateurs to handle after 2014. 

If by "this man" you mean , then please be aware that Nives has no say in what goes implemented into the game. He simply gets information from developers and brings it to us. No need to blame, hate or thank him for any of the updates since he's not responsible for them.

To everyone saying how they hate this update and how Tanki is becoming for buyers only, I want you to think about this: Tanki is a for-profit organisation that needs to make money, so would you rather have them move a useless thing like nickname changes to the Shop and make money that way, or add some kind of super overpowered alterations for turrets which would only be available in the Shop for high prices, which buyers would then use to dominate all battles?

 

This was a good move on their part. They added a new source of actual revenue without giving "buyers" an advantage in battles. And since nickname changes are an optional thing that one can easily live without, then no one suffers from not being able to afford it.

 

Now I realise that people will criticise me for this because I already changed my name to what I wanted, so here's a disclaimer. 

No, I do not like this update and I understand why players are upset about it. $18 is a massive amount of money, considering that you can buy a whole new decent game for that amount and have hours of fun, compared to changing a few symbols in this game (which is completely free in many other games). But I understand why it made sense to do it from a business point of view and I agree with the decision.

I agree. Guys, this updated does not affect you at all if you are not a buyer. Even if you are a buyer it doesn't affect you unless you want to buy it... and then it only makes it more helpful. Just because Tanki wants money doesn't make it a bad game. For all you non buyers, if this upadate wasn't a notificiation on your tanki account most of you wouldn'te ven know it happened!! Stop complanin about things that dont affect you!! Its super annoying and rude to the Tanki people

When we search "Tanki Online" on Google and when we click it, direct it to a payment page so that we can pay to visit this site.

Also, I have also provided how you can mint money, you could use these in the future updates.

Choosing maps ---> payment page
To surf through garage and shop ----> payment page
To change hull and weapon -----> payment page

"Turrets" :

When a striker gets a lock on enemies, don't let him/her fire, push him/her to payment page so that he can fire missiles. 
 

When a Shaft goes into a snipe mode, provide them with payment option, if they don't pay, they will stuck in the snipe mode for rest of the lives, you can also make this better, the longer the range, the more we pay.
 

Also, to activate alterations, you can provide us with a payment page, lol.

 

Wait!! there is more brainstorming, when twins fire, for each energy ball, you can pop up a payment page.

Please spare us the hull !!

We are already paying for gifts that we send to our friends, you can charge them to receive it.

You can also charge us for closing game.

Why would they not make you pay to change your name. What they do is create a totally different account and just upgrade all of your equipment and make it look exactly like your old one just so you can have a different name cause you hated the one you picked a year a go...

Why should they even have the option to make that switch? That is a time consuming process and you have no right to say they just want our money (Even though they do because that is litereally their job and they need to survive...) DesmondDoss you have no right to say any of this. Their goal is to make Tanki a more friendly place while keeping tankers and making a maximum amount of money...

 

Just asking, did you read anyone elses post? or did you comment this just off of your first reaction to it?

As it can only be used once, wouldn't 'license' be the better term than 'pass'?

Personally, I prefer the term 'pass', since the word 'license' is actually something more permanent. My driver's license for example doesn't disappear after I've driven once. A ticket, voucher or coupon on the other hand, would be fitting.

sir the only other issue that will need to be looked into more is these new accounts players will by pass the band names more and they wont be caught like they have been in the past . sure some do get pasted it but very few over the years.. now its going to be way easier seeing abbreviations will slip by more..
