Alright so this update is good, but ill state some points of the needed changes, I beat I will have a lot of players support on this, so lets start:

The update is great, I mean you can pay 18 USD in order to change your nickname without support and the complicated stuff so its not that bad.
Changing your nickname with crystals, you guys are going to disable it on 9 October which would be the stupidest thing ever, ill state why:

- Not every player has money to pay, for something that he really needs, to enjoy the game.
- This way tanki will just gain more money, nothing else, as you can see everyone says " Pay for play ".
- It is easier to change your nickname with this new update, which is good thing.

What should be changed in this update:

- You should never disable paying 100k crystals in order to change your nickname with support, as it is very important and who could not pay with in real life money could pay with in-game money, but will have to make some steps before changing his name which is harder than paying the 18 USD and changing the nickname using one click.

If you guys just edit this part about keeping the system of paying 100k crystals to change your nickname everyone will be happy, as not everyone is rich ASS lol, so up to you.

Thb, you should add the option to change nicknames for 100 000  or even make it up to 250 000 crystals in the garage for the free players, because if this a "Free to play" game then free players should have the right to buy ANYTHING they want if they have enought crystals, and yes, i'm talking about ALL Shop items not just the nickname pass.

 

you are making the gap btw the buyers and free players even wider, and it's only gonna be full of hate & envy, wich make this community even more poison than it already it is with all the cheaters and mults that hate on the buyers because they could never get the fancy stuff buyers have (e.g premium paints, clans, and now changing Nicknames...)

I liked having the option inside the game, but Just for real money? You should have the option to change in exchange for crystals. After all, the coin of the game is crystals. Now pay with real money just to change the name!? (In my view, it's a useless purchase. Money can't be thrown in the trash. It's because of these attitudes that poverty is not over...)

 

We might as well create another account with the name we want.

And with the new account, we save more on the crystals. because we already know the towers and hulls. and then buy only those torrets who played better, also the way the game is, is enough have 3 hulls, 1 from each group.

Firstly, they do want our money, everybody does, it's called capitalism, in case you slept through your history classes.

 

Secondly, do you have facts and figures, or at least a rational argument that supports your claim that tanki is 'surviving enough'? Also, since Bill Gates 'survives enough' too, he should just give stuff for free (which he does, to a reasonable extent, he does charity donation) and stop earning money and, I don't know what, my head isn't as crazy as yours, maybe you have some recommendations for him. So Windows 11 should be made free (which Windows 10 was made, to an extent) by your logic, cuz, hey, Microsoft 'survives enough' right?

Many games don't have the option to even change gamer tag or nickname, this is a liberty we have in Tanki, yes everyone understands your feelings clearly, there could be possible changes to the system, but all depends on the quality of feedback, but when feedback gets repetitive and abusive, there really isn't much to say. The update will roll, nothing shall stop it. Use the complaint book to send feedback there to the developers, or constructively explain your issue you have. Currently, all we see is that you dislike this feature due to it being a real-world currency purchase. Majority of people have already said this, so instead of repetitively regressing this, try come across as a tad friendlier, at the end of the day you are still here to play this, and nickname changed will not affect your gameplay.

I'm pretty sure most of the people complaining about this update haven't even changed nickname yet, and most likely won't even change nickname in the future either if the crystal system had stayed. They simply are just ranting because money is involved. It's pretty appalling.

 

Bro, there are options to change the gamer tag and even some games provide free service to change it. Also, Xbox, we can change the gamertag for free for the first time and they charge for second time taking region and currency into account, but here, we always have to pay via USD, when conversion takes place it would be a huge amount for most of us. The feed back is repetitive because majority of us not liking it. In most of the companies, they have procedure, if the customers don't take it, they will drop that idea. Trust me, Amazon is famous for that. Bro, we use real  currency here, that is the point, taking the conversion rate into account. I did a gold rain for three people, one among them keeps on nagging me asking for next rain. But currently I don't have much funds as I have purchased an alteration, but it will take time to save the crystals and change the name, that is okay with me, because we don't use real money here. All I say is that, they should have provided both the methods using crystal and pay to change. I really want to change the name. This week, I will get 10k crystals and by the next rank up I will get some crystals and for the remaining amount, I will buy the pack which is below 5 dollars, that is affordable. Now I don't have a chance for that. Don't just say all are ranting because of money. It is money! For example, you buy it and you don't need to put your information? Of your account? Before doing this because I think that Hackers could break into and the players and buy  NickName and change to another file without this information a little disturbing.

To put it plain and straight, this update is useless and horrible. If you continue making useless updates rather than fixing the real problems in the game, then this game will go into flames. Please utilize some common sense and stop making these unnecessary updates.

Perhaps it is useless, but it is a way for Tanki to earn money. As long as it doesn't affect the game of free players, it doesn't bother me.

Russian companies that are responsible for the transaction take a smaller percentage of the money for themselves than American ones, hence why it is cheaper for Russians.

Hey, no one is forcing you to change your name. No need to get worked up about it. Players who change their names have no advantage over you.

 

I personally fail to see why so many players are upset over something that doesn't affect gameplay. New shop paints are released fairly often and no one says anything about P2W, but suddenly changing your name requires real money and everyone goes crazy.
