Declined Balkan Community in TO!

Hello everybody! as you see by the title, I am presenting a new idea to Tanki, "Balkan Community"

By the title you can almoast know everything about it.

But the point is, there is much much people from Balkan ( Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia And Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia) All of these people would like to see their own community in game, Admins, Moderators, CM's etc etc... 

Balkan Chat would come with this also. Balkan Community would have much more players than PL or some smaller community. 

There would be many many new players from those countries if this idea happens, eSports leagues, etc etc.

One of Tanki Online's former English CMs, Semyon, stated a couple of times that they like to decide themselves which community to create, and that they follow the potential game market potentials in order to do so.

 

 

ps: out of interest: do the people in the countries you mentioned talk the same language, and share the same culture, so that they can get along with each other in a good way?

After reading your statement I wanted to learn, which name this "same language" has, as I know that Romanians speak another language then Turks and then Croatians (but I had no idea about all other countries over there).

So I looked up an article in wikipedia:

That's because you're comparing only the slavic languages. and you're comparing the name of a place!! names of places tend to be similar in all languages. In french, france is called france, that's similar to all other latin languages <_<  albanian, greek, romanian, italian and turkish aren't even close to those slavic languages.

 

P.S. my friend is romanian, he would slap you if he hears you say he'd get along with people from some of those countries and wants to put him into a seperate community with them.

I think we have no EU community.. we have an English community (here, where we write).

The servers are names EU1, EU2, ... - which finally indicates where they are located (Amsterday < Netherlands < EUrope).

The good thing about this situation here is, that this feature is declined _anyways_ as the Tanki Online company decides to create communities by their market potential. So there is not much point in arguing who might/might not get along with others.

I'd like to remind all of us (including me as well) that political discussions are not allowed by the forum rules (leads to never ending flame wars). Personally I am pretty happy about the fact that people from different nations can play along each others side in that game without blaming each other for their nationality, ethny or the past of their nation. And I like to keep it like that :)

 

back to your intention:

You could start a communication club in the offtopic section if you like to; if you moderate that well if feels pretty close to a community. Maybe you create it for Slavic languages (if that works out), which also reduces potential issues.

Make US community? If you compare market capabilities its better/bigger/richer than any of the current ones... if you wanna talk i that way then. Also, i think it is neccesary to make some section of forum for each group of languages so players from those regions could enjoy game it their way. Like the way foe. you made arabic and french newspaper. Ask me? We ( Balkan states ) deserve one!

There is already an English community.. so what would be the benefit of a US community then?

And.. what should be the difference between the US and the English community? Special festivals, which feature no sale, as in the current architecture a sale is always provided the the whole server cluster?

arabs and french are big buyers, even bigger than russians if you count average per player. and you dont all speak the same language. i dont know which balkan state youre from but assuming youre not romanian just imagine they put some romanian guy in charge of the balkan community and get some romanian reporter to publish the balkan newspapers in romanian. Sure, you can chose not to read the newspapers but would you like how someone else represents all of you? Thats how romanians and italians would feel if it was the other way round. just because you happen to get along with just a few other balkan states doesnt mean you have to round up everyone to make it seem like theres a lot of people who'd want this. Yugoslavia ended for a reason and there are people who are happy with it. They dont need to play as though it hasnt ended in this game. The anount of people you have is too few to form a community then live with it, dont make up stuff about how people who rather remain seperated from you want to be with you.
