I play pro serpuhov CTF on ru2 with a nice team of mostly Russian players - who I don't understand in chat, but who cares?

 

And I want to keep it that way - CTF Serpuhov pro on ru2.

 

Because we don't want your noob drugger battles.

Anyway as some others said, since u are going to have a huge battle list some adicional filter options would be handy. Namely a no-drug filter and a ranking bracket selection.

I was thinking about filters, and this is what I came up with:

 

Battle defining filters: CP, CTF, DM, TDM

 

Non battle defining filters for Standard battles: Summer, Winter

 

Non battle defining filters for PRO battles: Space, Night, Format/Non-format, Supplies On/Off, Overdrives On/Off

 

As you see it is hard to come up with filter for Standard battles. One thing that could help prevent long lists could be reducing the rank brackets.

Yeah, but that means no going to EU20 to finish a Finish First in a Battle mission anymore... <_<

I know :/ . On the bright side, it means no more wasp fire mults playing in Sandbox to get 2000 kills during the week end give aways.

The new list won't affect your favorite map at all, it will even make it easier to find more Serpuhov CTF because all of those battles will be united in one list.

Hey, don't be so negative :P

See, you and a lot of other players play this format of battle - so someone will create it, doesn't matter which server, you will still be able to find it in battle list and join it. What if I told you the reason, why these battles are on RU2 is easy - everyone knows where to find them, people gather in one server and play the battle of format they like, they don't need to search over 22 servers to find this one battle ;)

Now there will be one change - you will need to scroll over longer list of battles, but I'm sure the battle will be still there, as long as players will stay, and they have no reason to, this update won't affect you.

Players will only be able to see battles suitable for thier own rank, exactly as it is now.

^yes, I’m also starting to get excited about Tanki Halloween. We all know it’s coming - why not start mentioning it in the VLogs now that we are in October. It would drum up player interest. You’ve said before you don’t like to announce sales in advance, and that’s fine. But over the course of three - four weeks or so you could:

 

Week 1 - just announce that there will be an event, don’t even need any details - kits get people excited.

 

Week2 - announce some of the cool features coming up for the event. For example you could just say there will be a new map, a new Holiday paint, new gifts.

 

Week 3 - preview the new map, paints, and/or gifts.

 

Week 4 - announce the details of the sale and any bundles

 

Then host the event. You’ll have players drooling on their Battle buttons :D

Well, with up to 10 tanks per side odds are not always great. Unless you end up on a noob team - then odd are improved.

 

Will also make it harder to create a battle on server 11 or 12 or 12 or 14 for collect gold-box missions. 7,000 crys is nothing to sneeze at.

Speaking of Halloween, plz make it like Xmas. I mean that everyone will be able to create the Halloween map in normal battle, not pro, and it will still count for missions.

 

Because through the battle button, I doubt there will be a lot of Halloween maps created.

Yes, we do care. Thats why we have an entire section where you can report them with a video to be blocked. And we know there are alot of players cheating, thats also why theres an entire team of people who check those reports you send then ban the hackers, they also go into battles and block hackers themselves. You get the point :P

 

The reason why there are so many fly hackers around your rank is because it takes 2 seconds to create an account and hack, it doesn't matter to them if they get blocked because they can just make a new account. Sadly it's just a never ending chain. :(

 

When you get to higher ranks there will be less and less fly hackers because people don't want to be blocked on a high rank account, there will still be some but few and far between. ;)

well the rewards for catching gold boxes and finishing first are pretty high so it's not good if people are able to cheat to get those rewards. i mean to finish first all i do is join a battle where I'm at the top at the rank bracket, i usually complete it in about 3 matches. if i can't then i get some clan mates to bring me flags to capture. as for catching gold boxes if i don't catch any before the end of the day i get my clan to occupy an entire DM battle, gang up and kill anyone who's not from the clan until they leave to make more spaces form more clan mambers to join until there's enough of us to instantly kill anyone else the moment they spawn, then drop a gold for myself.

Combined battle list, YES! Finally, no more searching through 4-5 servers just to find a good battle. Nice update. :)

 

Though there might need to be an improved battle filter, but lets wait and see.

um, i wasn't kidding, i don't know why you'd think that...

 

but yes, i think it's worse, because those 2 things aren't against the rules. we're allowed to team with others in DM and hand flags to team mates. I don't even understand what's wrong with what i do, it's team work we help each other out whithin the parameters and without breaking any rules. and when i get them to hand me flags I'm sitting on our flag defending it so, i kinda deserve the extra exp. it's not cheating at all.

Yeah, because that Battle Button nonsense was not around last year. That Earn 10000 XP on the Holiday Map mission is going to go over like a lead balloon if Standard Holiday map battles can’t be created. I hope the devs are thinking about this.

 

Side note it just occurred to me that I might actually use the Battle button now that the servers lists will be merged. A surprise once in a while is a good thing.

how is that any different from russians who do firewasp on empty servers to complete their 999999 missions? it's basically the same thing except on a smaller scale.
