how is that any different from russians who do firewasp on empty servers to complete their 999999 missions? it's basically the same thing except on a smaller scale.

Now your changing details and making it quite specific. Not everyone who sets up a battle on an unused server is "cheating" since setting up a battle is not cheating.

But if you think what you do is somehow more "right" I don't think anything I add is going to change your mind.

We are not going to agree on this one.

If what I heard about the combined battle list turns out to be the case then clearly this will be a tremendous practical improvement. This sort of interface upgrade is pure upside.

this does more bad to me than good.

battles will fill up faster and that means it becomes very difficult to capture flags...

the list is good for pro battle players, but it makes missions a lot harder now..

:(

No wonder the Parkour Survival contest ended so early...

Yup, and a good thing too. It would have been very inconvenient if any of the contestants wanted to participate in both.

No more wasp fire?

Publically to finish missions, no  Seems like if you reaaaaally love that format, private battles are the way to go.. :p but soon, you won't get XP and Crystals anyway once matchmaking comes out.. who knows when that might be tho :p

I don't play wasp/fire. I was asking because a lot of players do that thing

Ye, I don't like it much either :/ but yep, it seems like this might decline, but then again I haven't had a lot of successes with public wasp fire battles anyway xD

No more wasp fire?

wasp fire players Should be banned, they win most contests by cheating, and while 5X times double gold rate, 9 out 10 of the first goldbox catchers on the ratings page have wasp/fire Combo.

i killed those guys the whole summer, they only decreased a bit when Tanki removed Sandbox map & pass map from Non pro battles, so now they have to play it on Tribute Map or desert, but due to the large number of players on those maps, they can't play wasp/fire for too long.

wasp/fire is powerleveling unless it played on Pro battles WITHOUT any funds or XPgiven to them, i really encourage Tanki to fight those cheaters.

a fine example of an Elite wasp/fire powerleveler is this guy, he earned approximately +600 000 crystals just in the past two weeks, and he is right now 1st on experience points ratings.

Tanki Should ban people like this.

That is the plan once matchmaking system comes out :)

Can't tell you how much I am looking forward to a unified battle list :)

I hope they managed to have a fast loading time (when you are sent from the battle list to the server and into the battle), but if yes - awesome :)

(no, I am not happy about each and every update, but I've proposed this one 2 or 3 years ago, and finally it comes online (not because of my proposal, but that does not matter.. it's here soon.. that counts :)))

The combined battle list was probably inevitable with the coming of The Dread MatchMaking.  It's just too bad it is starting so soon.

It's going to reduce the number of players yet again.  Why?  Because many players (including me) use the different servers to find battles with few players or even start a battle in a specific mode to complete missions.  I guarantee that there are many players out there that can not finish first in a battle.  I'm a pretty good player and it is not easy for me to place first in a full battle.  One guy in this thread said it is easy for him...all he has to do is play about three battles and he gets a 1st place.  Wow, so that is 45 minutes and if you have 2 1st places that is an hour and a half...and he is probably a good player.  That is a long time for one mission.

Anyway, I doubt I will bother with missions when they entail an hour or two to complete.  My guess is that there will be many people like me.  Our in-game income will crash, can't upgrade or buy kits, can't be competitive...quit playing.  This will usher in another great exodus from Tanki.

My guess is that Tanki will become something like Agario for me.  A game I enjoy and log in now and then to play, but nothing serious like Tanki is now...I log in religiously everyday because I am greedy and want to keep upgrading.  If missions get too hard my mission chain will break and there will be no reason to log in everyday.

Tanki is seeing less than 40000 players now, even at peaks....its more like 35000.  I predict that this will drop by 25% within a few weeks after the unified battle list.  See if I'm right...look for 25000 at peak play times.

right on everything, but player decline won't be so sharp as long as the triple mission rewards continue.

once they end, then many will be done with non-pro battles.

tanki why did you have to take away the server choice button...

Very good analysis. These developers of Tanki apprently lack clear vision to grasp the effect on their game.

I am legend 27 now, and for me it is the same.

If they continue like this they can stick it in the famous darkplace.

Then I go to World of Tanks or anothe game.

Power-leveling it is own punishment. Only noobs think gaining exp points quickly is a smart strategy in TO.

Players who predict a decline in player levels because the game gets rids of a major PITA are likely to be disappointed in their predictions. Better interfaces that waste less player time are a Good Thing.  Finish 1st is a hard mission to ocmplete. So here;s how to deal with that. Click "Change".

Incorrect.

Crystal / experience ratio does not matter much for legends, so there is no harm for them in gaining fast xp.

more xp = fast rank up = good rank up rewards.

Besides, the whole of tanki is about power leveling. You shoot somebody, he shoots you back, first one dies, then another.

Fire wasp is just a fast forward way of that same routine.

Yes, in future I will click change for the Finish First Mission, but when the reward is big crystals, I don't like turning it away.

I'm from the era where I used to make 1 vs 1 Ping Pong ctf for these missions, which is what gets me frustrated with these updates that keep making missions difficult.

Last 6 months they have 3 parkour contests, it should be better if they are more random in the year.

I have to agree, participants should be given a bit of time too.. but hey, atleast this means parkour is getting the recognition it deserves :D Even though I completely hate it and am reaaaally bad at it, I must say it is wonderful to look at too :)

There is no update how can save this game anymore. It actually only gets worse with each update. Watching how much is player online and on the forum ( only four pages are written in topic about V-log, before much more ) this game is outdated and ready to be shut down.

Some people have been saying how long the battle lists will be.

It occurs to me that they won't be that long since everything will be created from one nexus point, The Battle Button.  Now there are many battles of the same mode on the same map because there are 24 server choices.  The unified list will act like one server for all intents and purposes and only create another battle in a specific mode like CTF or CP when previously created battles are full. or about to finish.  In other words there will not be 17 Kungur CTF battles to choose from..there will be only one or two and these will be packed up.

Overall, I don't know if this will be good or bad.  It will certainly make missions harder.  If it would keep the Dread Matchmaking away, I would welcome the unified battle list since at least you still have a little control and can still choose your map and rank brackets to some extent.  MM will remove all choice for completing missions which is terrible and a real loser idea, but Hazel seems to be "Damn the torpedoes, Full speed Ahead!".

Tanki keeps moving to "Freedom from Choice"...at least they still let us choose our own equipment even though they did homogenize the crap out of all the hulls and turrets.  I believe that the ability to control so much of the older Tanki game is one of the reasons it was a great game.  All the choices we had keep getting pruned away bit by bit...the unified battle list is just another bit of freedom chipped away.

If you are a legend ranking up is virtually meaningless in terms of any maythmatical significance. So whay the deside to powerlevel.

Bottom line my point is:: powerlevel away O do not care one bit.  It does not hurt me and it does not help you.

I’ve also noticed that the finish first mission is the only mission to pretty reliably reward crystals instead of supplies. Tell me that’s coincidence...
