Parkour Club Support

Recommended Posts

Why does rank or garage matter?, what matter is that your skills, your activity and creative works. So, ofc anyone can be part of this as long as they are constantly making nice and good videos.

Let's see we'll try then.

Yes, a creative video is one that contains new tricks that were never used in parkour before, or at least ones that are rarely used, or special variations and combinations of tricks, though there's a very very big difference between using rare tricks and coming up with your own new tricks. Other than creativity, the greatness of videos is mostly measured by subjective factors because, after all, the videos are there for people to enjoy and not just to cross some clearly defined border of requirements. For example, you can't measure the showiness of tricks in a non subjective way.

We're gonna make it to that list !!

Dear Readers!

I would like to have some words to this topic.

I think it's obvious this action is supposed to stimulate parkour clubs to be more active and produce videos. I see you trying to attract parkourists and clubs, it's nice and good...

However, I still see no point of this announcement. Just think about the fact that you're a leader of a new club. Your biggest problem probably wouldn't be the supplies. Even if yes, just take a look at the conditions of receiving supplies: being active, producing high quality parkour videos with good tricks, recording and editing.

Firstly, in my opinion for completing the conditions you would need to cope with way harder issues like activity or gathering members. For editing, you need another person. Producing high quality videos is possible with spectator (real or fake), that needs another person. Making an appointment is not easy, as well.

Secondly, I don't say that these clubs don't deserve the supplies, but now clubs with less activity and videos will not be awarded so it won't really make anything changed while they reach a certain level.

I can see your intention, but I can tell that it is not going to any effect on the clubs. They have been doing their best and this small 'promise' won't make them change anything. So next time try to find out something else. Help in more essential way or do not do anything.

I want to say congrats to clubs that have been listed and to ones that will be listed in the future.

P.E.: From now on, you can see my posts on forum containing my own subjective opinion, I am not available in the game, only on forum.

Thanks for reading,

                                              Kris

all i see is dutch flyers 2 montages few months ago ._.

Then they got busy with the survival contest, and now everyone is busy working on MOP. We'll see how their activity will be after they will be done with parkour contests. Don't worry, nobody gets supplies for doing nothing.

The second thing what takes us more time to make a video is the fact we only got 1 spectator, he was/is busy with school as well. We're working to get a second spectator.

That. No offense, but I guess you are not the only ones in need of a spectator.

We've been busy with parkour survival, and thats a good reason because we won it. Now we're busy with MOP like swift said above. The second thing what takes us more time to make a video is the fact we only got 1 spectator, he was/is busy with school as well. We're working to get a second spectator. We're not perfect, but we're making ourselfs better :) (btw, there is a playlist on our channel of PS, so we keep uploading videos)

I think just be happy with your spectator...

It's the way you see "need". We just want to make videos only with spectator, people like it and it's more entertaining.

Yeah, so do we although everyone wants to use a spectator for their videos. And to earn a spot in this list, nice video qualities will have a great dominance pver non-spec videos

Non-spec videos can also be good too, it doesn't matter how you make the videos as long as you make them good. For example, the parkour club [NGU] Never Give Up made a pretty good video using fake spec. Fake spec is available for everyone, but you have to learn how to use it well, just like it takes time to get good at using spectator mode. If you want to learn how to use fake spec, read this guide. It will be worse than real spectator since it's more limited, but if you're good at it you can make your video look pretty good, and earn some support for your club.

You're right. He was speaking not just about spectator as a freely moving camera, but those who actually use spectator have very good capabilities (good PC etc). I bet he would be glad if there was anyone taking a little trouble to record a few tricks for him.

I did say it's a good thing, didn't I? It's just humiliating compared to other communities, that's all.

I agree. Other communities get 1500 of each supply per video they make. Why not just give all active parkour clubs the same thing instead? Will be much easier than giving supplies monthly and will be much more repaying.

Lol, i don't care what other community gets or how much they get. Like i said earlier, we are trying our best to help our community, as much as we can. This is just the start, so don't expect something bigger stright away. There (might) be more things... in the near future, you never know ;). So, for now i just want more good and creative works from our community and more active clubs. It's all on you guys, you guys need to prove yourself that you deserve something more than what you are currently getting. I know some of the clubs are doing really great tricks but we need to raise the bar to even higher, showing that you love parkour and actively doing great tricks, coming up with new tricks, motivating others to be part of the group, etc. I believe we can do that. Wish you the best of luck to every clubs. I'm off, good night :)

The amount of supplies the supported clubs receive has been increased to 300 supplies every week!

Only parkour clubs that remain active and productive will receive this support.

By the way, having spectator does help, but it's not a requirement for receiving this support. You can find some tips for improving your parkour videos in the main post.

From 200 of each supply a month to 1200? That's a lot more than what other communities get now considering they make guides every 2-3 months and only get 1500 of each supply for it. Looks like EN is on top now. :D

nah if you don't make videos for months you'll stop getting supplies, can't be lazy in the EN community :P
