No. It would be like Earn EXP in battles mission and Pick Up boxes mission put together. You can do the EXP early and then Pick Up boxes, or vice versa. It would not replace Earn EXP in battles missions.

 

It is to ensure that they are fighting in battle and not just hiding somewhere.

That was the aim of my suggestion. If players have to earn experience with the supply they picked up, they will actually start trying instead of chasing a bunch supplies and be done with it.

It would be like this: you pick up a speed boost, and only then it will count towards your mission if you make a kill, cap a point etc. Speed boosts runs out? You'll have to collect another one to proceed with your progress.

and shaft mammoths/magnum anythings would just take nitro even though we don't even have to move

 

just remove these box missions completely. missions like finish first, capture flags, kill enemies and capture points are what makes us play hard.

This sucks.  Half the time I click on a battle and it does not connect.  The connection to that server is so slow sometimes, that the whole battle has changed by the time you get there because other players don't actually end up connecting.  I have seen my name on the battle and a minute later, I go back to the main battle screen without having connected to the game.  Also, now I can't go to one server and play in peace, I am getting more clans jumping in once you have won a game and the other team starts to leave.  They hop in, drug to the hilt and chat their plans via Skype, and my team dissolves. These changes are like many recent changes, just lower the number of crystal you can earn.  There was a time when you could play on any map, but now they are these huge maps where you spend most of your time driving and earn 100 crystals when you are done.

When I look at a battle from the Battle List, it shows as empty, I join it, it shows as half full. Explain?

All of the battles or a part of them? We are investigating, and so far it seems to be related to server distribution.

So my internet connection sometimes glitches out.

Before the update, I could simply reload the page, and I would be back in the same battle with the current score. When I read the article on this update, it says that it should still work like that.... yet it doesn't.

 

Whenever I glitch out and disconnect, I reload the page, and instead of being back in the battle, I'm at the page with the list of battles to choose from, and my score in that battle is gone.

 

It's really ruining the game for me whenever I disconnect, especially near the end, because I don't get any crystals.  :(  :(  :(

 

If you (Nives) could pass this along to the devs, that would be great.....

This is AWFUL. I press play and have to wait a 10 to 60 seconds lag. On one occasion 7:00 Eastern time (Canada), I had to refresh the page 4 times until it worked. I want 4 minutes of my life back.

Truly terrible gameplay....probably the most annoying hour or so of gaming I've ever had.

 

Can't join battles I want to. When I get in battle the teams are lopsided with one team having more inactives than the other.

 

Would make sense to roll back to thursdays version of the game, cos this is seriously off-putting, to the point I feel like quitting this game now.

i use Isida when i have XP mission and i don't wanna Drug, i just hide in my team and heal while they suffer all the trouble getting the flags or killing enemy teams.

 

This is not a "wish turret is the best" thread so i won't talk much about Isida, but trust me Isida is used by this guy only to get XP  for some Daily Mission the LAZY WAY.

 

and Nive likes your Post just because he uses Isida too, his like doens't mean a crap, especially since he can't even turn his turret yet.

 

in conclusion, Isida's are XP vampires in Legend ranks, nobody use it these days in Non pro unless it want easy Xp points, so it's the second Noob Turret after wasp/fire combo.

 

6 years of Tanki experience talking here son, 4 of it just in the hight ranks, i know every little trick in the game.

That will be confusing and require a good amount of programming. My idea is simple, you can even pick up the boxes right now with 0 EXP, then come back later and do the EXP required, it wouldn't make sense to do it that way of course, and that's the goal, to make players pick up boxes and fight.

They're lucky players are even still here supporting. I find it really funny how Ostrica stops the chat whenever the hell he wants and just slams the keyboard banning whomever they want.

 

I'm pretty sure Ostrica has a"valid" reason for that. All I see admins and moderators do here is spitting up "excuses and valid reasons". Easy money.

 

Be glad, you and i have to really work to earn a decent salary.

 

 

Nope, not really.
I have no knowledge whatsoever when it comes to programming and I'm not a programmer either, so all I can do to help them is keep them in the loop about the problems that players are reporting. Since I'm a forum administrator it's part of my job to spend time on the forum, reply to players, make sure that the forum discussions stay appropriate and that player feedback is forwarded to the right people.

 

If only the right people did something appropriate with it... sigh

Big matches were problem enough even before this.  :unsure:

 

It's getting fair bit annoying when I can't find even one match that I'd call suitable for my rank.

I waited like 5 minutes until someone created a battle where i was going to be a 3rd rank from the top, not 6th or 7th.

 

The rank bracket should be 5 ranks long, not more. If you observe how people are joining battles, they try to join the team with higher ranks, if a low rank joins your team, your team starts losing right there. I can't understand how devs don't see that.

 

Making it 5 ranks long will also reduce the number of mults, and multers will have a hard time managing two accounts that are 5 ranks apart or less.

he still won't get it, low accounts are annoying to reply to, they are mostly trolls looking for Attention, don't even bother with it Pedro, he think it's an envy issue while it's a fairness issue, as soon as he read your reply he will answer with some nonsense followed by "boooooo" like a 5 years old kid...

That Russian cheater plays Wasp/Fire in private battles with JD,Alliance, Avengers & other Wasp/Fire clans to get tons of crystals. They don't care non-PRO battles for missions/giveaways, they get enough from private battles playing those 999 hours DM Wasp/Fire battles, they had a secret Facebook+Skype group for that, they share links among them. Such cheaters will be exposed if private battles will be like Parkour battles. Almost 60% of players in Top 100 crystals ratings page are Wasp/Fire cheaters, you can't stop them.

Wheeeeeeee I've had a wonderful meal by feasting on the salty tears of you noobs but now down to the serious stuff.

 

The Unified Battle List. Many of you are complaining the unified battle list was a mistake. I respectfully disagree. Here's why.

  • It removed useless features that could have been potentially producing lag and was creating issues and crashes.
  • It made finding a battle significantly faster due to every battle available being visible in the battle list.
  • It created a true use for the battle filter. Too long did it sit un-used because too few battles were present in a server for it to be useful.
  • It makes the lives of the Battle Moderators easier, as they do not need to traverse through 24 different servers searching for players to bring the Ban Hammer of Justice upon.

 

Unified Chat Channels. A useless but welcome feature, as it gave Tanki a reason to lower the chat unlock rank for low rank tankers so that they can use active battle chat and the Rookie Only chat. It also makes things easier on the moderators, as they don't have to spread themselves so thin across 24 different chat servers and instead focus their full efforts on 4 chat servers, technically 2 if you disclude the extraneous channels.

 

Now, on to busting the most common complaint in my opinion so far on this thread: Long wait times for the matchmaking system.

My short answer? Don't use it. The long answer? The matchmaking system works by attempting to find a battle best suited to your rank bracket, starting by taking your base rank (For example, mine, 3rd Lnt) and expanding the bracket one rank up and down until finding a match that is best suited for you (This means it will try to make you the middle man in terms of rank). Naturally, this means that players of the ranks Legend and Recruit have the fastest matchmaking times. Why? Because these two ranks have no ranks higher or lower than them, respectively. This means the matchmaker is forced to match Legends with only other Legends and lower ranks, and Recruits with only other recruits and higher. 

 

A question someone will undoubtedly ask will be "Well how do I find a match that I want to join that won't uprank me?"

This is simple. When looking at the battle list, simply select a battle and look at the map thumbnail. In the bottom left hand corner of that thumbnail will be a bar of ranks that represent the ranks that can join that battle. In my case, we will say that I want to fight a match of CTF. I don't want to be fighting M2s on a regular basis, so I want to be top rank. This means that I can look at the rank bracket of a match to see if 3rd Lnt is the highest or second highest rank in a match. This makes my life easy for a few reasons. 

  1. Players won't have powerful protections from my main turrets, Thunder and Shaft.
  2. Players will be noobier, and less experienced, making get kills easier and fast.
  3. Matches will be easier to stay in 1st place, allowing for quick completion of missions.

So now you all see my point of view, despite it being a rant.

Collect proof from their Facebook and skype groups if possible and report them. What they're doing is technically a rules violation in some form or another, most likely falling under the power leveling category.

Unless they are power-leveling and giving free kills to each other, Fire-Wasp is allowed and anyone can use it and play TO using this combo whenever they want be it in private battle or in a public one. Fire-Wasp is allowed and doesn't break any of the game rules and of course you 100% have the choice to invite anyone you want to your battles and let them know that you guys are playing Fire-Wasp ''normally''. The thing that isn't allowed in Fire-Wasp battles and in any other battle modes is the deliberate inaction, helping the opposing team, playing poorly and against your own team as well as conspiracy with the players of the opposing team.

 

 

Well the system was much more stable today. I clicked to join a battle; I joined the battle. Yesterday not so much.

Seems like they have been working on it since they announced it in the v-log. Time to see how much kills I can do in this weekend.

At it again with the blinding colors but ANYWAYS.

 

A moderator is not allowed to ban whom they want whenever they want. It's abuse of power, which is reason to have your moderator rights taken away and you banned for a very long time. And they don't get paid for doing so. Are police officers paid a bonus for every person they arrest? No. So should moderators get paid for banning people? No.

Moderators are not paid with real money. Only the Community Manager, Nives, is. From what I remember, moderators are paid in crystal bonuses.

You should probably stop making assumptions.

 

My simple suggestion to you, in all politeness, is to hang back and just watch what unfolds within Tanki. It isn't your concern how the mods do their job, you can't tell them or the devs what to do. Just sit back and relax as you watch the forums. Maybe you could take after my example. Only add input when input is felt to be legitimately needed, not when you want. Adding input when you want is only going to cause issues and get bans. Trust me, I would know.

Mods don't get paid depending on how many players they ban but how long they work for, and it's not real money but crystals.

 

Now on to the more important stuff, the red team in the screenshots I'm about to post had to play 9v10 in a non-PRO Silence battle the entire time, a player was only able to join the red team if one of the nine people already in it left, as if there were only 9 spaces able to be filled in that team making it a very unfair battle.
