I do like the update and the lag went away in like 5 minutes that I log into the game. But they are some minor bugs. To be delt with.

Stop feeding me back into the same battle I just left, you think I left because I like it? Be prepared to open a few extra battles before shovelling people back into bodgy battles for the second time... narrow the ranks down a bit too. I so much want to rant and rave right now....

I really don't like the "Unified Battle List" as I always end up with people who outrank me quite a lot.

It removes the fun of the game. Could you please make it more fair for those who don't have a high rank?

I despise the Unified Battle List.  I think it's the worst change Tanki has ever made.  

 

I have played Tanki every night since the mission chains were created - with the exception of a couple days when Tanki implemented the crap known as the "matchmaker" system.  At that point, it was no longer worth playing Tanki, so I quit for a few days.  Fortunately, they got rid of it, and I started to play again. Unfortunately, Tanki has added something just as bad - or maybe even worse.

 

I know Tanki doesn't really listen to players, so the only way to express how much I hate the change is to stop playing until the Unified Battle List is eliminated.

 

I will play my last games tonight - and set an alarm to check back in a month to see if the Unified Battle List has been removed... or if Tanki is even still around.  If not... well, by that point, I probably won't even miss Tanki very much and will not start playing again.

 

Tanki - you are screwing the pooch.  Wake up... or die.

Actually, I've been thinking much the same thing.  And I guess Tanki isn't interested in making players happy, or they'd ASK about the changes before they made them.  Anyway I agree that the UBL is the worst change Tanki has ever made and I'm willing to quit playing until Tanki gets rid of it.  So tonight is my last game for a while too.  I think it sounds reasonable to check back in a while to see if Tanki has eliminated the change.  If not, I guess I won't play Tanki anymore either.

I've been thinking about how best to react to the Unified Battle List change. Complaining doesn't seem to help. I think quitting until it's removed sounds like a good idea. Tanki used to be a lot of fun. And some of the changes have been great. The new stryker and magnum turrets are cool. And the damage numbers are very nice - even if they sometimes show that your shot is not registering any damage on the enemy Tank (one of the many bugs that Tanki doesn't seem to care about changing). But the change to not allow missions to be completed with pro battles and the total screwup on the nerving of the repair boxes were pretty bad. But this latest change is the WORST CHANGE EVER. Every battle is crammed full of people just trying to shoot as fast as they can. There's no strategy anymore. And missions are 10x harder.

 

I've had enough.

 

Maybe the only way Tanki will get the message is if we all stop playing. I'm willing to do that. Like I said, Tanki used to be a lot of fun. The recent changes make it a lot more of a pain in the butt. So I'm willing to quit playing too. I just finished my last game. Taking a week or two off to see if the Unified Battle List is gone when I get back - well, there are other games, and maybe I'll like them more than Tanki. If I do - maybe I'll never come back. I've spent real money on Tanki - not a lot. I stopped sending in money when I figured out that Tanki didn't care what players thought - and vowed I would never send money in again after they messed up a credit card transaction - so the more I think about it, the less I'll probably miss this game.

 

It was fun.

You players need to know that the purpose behind this update is for your good, they may be experiencing issues now but I feel that they are able to solve it.

Castor Oil is for your own good. Why don't you drink a gallon of it?

 

See, the problem with any merchant telling you what is "for your own good" is that there's someone else out there who will give you what you actually WANT, not just what they want to give you. So, if Tanki doesn't listen to it's players - Tanki will go out of business. And that's as it should be.

Tanki needs to roll back this update, get rid of the Unified Battle List and put things back as they were before.

They didn't "get rid of it". It was only a test and the devs wanted to see how the matchmaker preformed.

It went away.  That's all I care about.  It was the worst change up to that time.  Now there's a new champion for worst Tanki change ever!

 

Why is it that Tanki can't make changes people will like?  New map?  Or whatever happened to those tournaments?  Those were fun.  And of course, they royally screwed up the latest special event - the gold box game.  Seems when it's something that we'll enjoy, they only succeed half the time.  When it's something we HATE - they keep doing it.

 

Why can't they fix bugs?  The scoring doesn't work right - especially at the beginning of a battle.  Watch your kill count at the start.  Do you get credit for all the kills?  I rarely do.  Usually I lose 2-3 kills per game because it just doesn't work right.

 

Oh well - I'm about ready to shelve this game anyway.

the unified battle list is great.... now i dont have to troll 25 servers just to find a battle including a server 24 that made my computer crash ^_^... those were the days.

 

there are bugs of course with anything new in programming.

and changes that needed to be done for example the missions in pro battles?  its to stop people just going to a pro battle getting the prizes and leaving the game,

rank brakets are a bit high now i agree and they should certainly do something about having non drug battles ?

Like this other guy said, I'm also taking a break from the game once this weeks chain is over. There are hardly any battles to choose from.

and Chat update is also bad, if you wanna see players come to your battle, try your best luck at General 1, posting the battle link in there. Because LF Battle chat is dead. nobody comes in there. General 2-4 look useless, because only like max 5 people text in each General channel, apart 1. Conclusion is, if you click any other chat channel,other than General 1, which is often flooded by players, you can basically see some random two friends talking to each other

See what good the update does when there are even fewer players to fill the battles, you have to spread the rank range so much privates are fighting field marshals.  Mid-ranks usually can't find a battle that isn't being ruled by those 5 ranks ahead of them.  

 

Lag.  Getting into battles isn't easy.  Actually FEWER battles available because everyone is jammed into a few battles.  Used to be you might find a battle with 5-6 players and you could get your supply missions done.  Not anymore.  

 

I've had enough of this crap.  I quit.

 

I'll probably come back in a couple weeks to see if this horrible update has been eliminated.  If not, I'm gone for good.

Like many people here I think I will not bother with my mission chain any more.   I intend to keep playing Tanki but in Pro Battles (until the devs ruin them somehow).  I will still do missions that reward crystals, but won't bother with lame missions like 7 dd boxes for 4 speed and 5 mines.  I did in the past to keep up with the mission chain, but I find the regular battles in the UBL era boring at best, tedious at all times, and frustrating at the worst. Sooooooo, Forget it.  I just won;t bother with all the missions.  MatchMaking can only make this bad situation worse, so eventually I would break my chain anyway.

 

It is just a shame that they have ruined this game...blind, foolish, and kinda stupid really.
