I also think enhanced sort and filter options would have been good and I think Alterniva May have missed an opportunity here. And not for lack of player suggestions on the matter.

No, the matchmaking system will still be implemented. Though as Sergei mentioned in a recent livestream, it could be after the New year.

3: questions:

 

   1: How long will this update take to be completed? 

 

   2: Has TO thought about changing the time they implement these updates? (especially the long updates) 

 

   3. Has TO brainstormed about a possible solution to the timing of the updates? (ex: if possible have the update times differ based on the country or region the player is located?)

 

The updates tend to mess with my schedule. 

 

Never the less, thank you for continuing to bring critically beneficial updates to the game! :D

I predict another bad disaster like the last "match maker" battles SNAFU. and the recent "gold box" event (which was a complete and utter failure).

 

Tanki just doesn't get it.  These are not the kinds of changes that people give a crap about.

 

Fix the bugs.  Add new things like turrets, maps.  If you're going to have a special event - fine - just make sure you don't screw it up (like the gold box event).

 

Don't add crap like "crystal missions" which means you wind up wasting a bunch of time in a battle only to see stupid people on your team throw away half your effort at the end of the game - and which encourages people with crystal missions to join the WINNING team (every time).

 

DO add things like the stryker and magnum turrets.  

 

​Why am I wasting bandwidth?  Tanki never listens.

 

Get ready for another drop in player count.

Looking around with my major general account I see 6 available games for CP. Five of them go up to Generalissimo rank and one up to general on a map that I don't want to play. No possibility to move somewhere else to that ends it for today for me.

I could use the battle button but then probably end up in one of these existing games I don't want to play.

This change will be the death of Tanki.  Here's why:

 

By compressing all the players into fewer games all resources become more scarce.  All missions become much more difficult.  So restocking via missions is pretty much dead.  In fact, completing missions will be much harder in all games.

 

Second, there won't be any new players.  Junior players are forced into battles with much more senior players.  That's been true since Tanki decided to expand the rank range for battles.  But before, junior players could find a server and a game where they could play each other and where the game might not be completely full.    Since they can't really pick their battles anymore, they have no choice.  Junior players will be forced into battles with players who are three, four, five even six ranks above them.  Not only that, but there will be a lot of them.  In the past if you were in a battle with 8 other players, most of whom were your own rank, with a couple higher ranking players, you could compete.  But that won't happen any more, since basically ALL battles will be completely full.  So what will happen is that where you used to have a bunch of 3d and 2nd Lieutenants fighting it out with a Major or two thrown in, now you will have a completely full battle with half the players being completely dominated.  Being new players, they will quit and go play some game where they have a chance.  

 

And Tanki is toast.

 

If you thought the number of new players was dropping off before - just wait until they have no choice but to be cannon fodder for more experienced players.

Remove the Capture Flag mission because when Overdrive comes, we can't take flag if there is an invincible mammoth (or 2!) sitting on the enemy flag, with isidas healing them.

 

Do not remove the collect box missions, because they keep my chain alive.

it's not a practical Idea as there is only one server so i can't creat a NEW empty battle by pressing the useless "Battle" Button, 90% of the time will only make me join the loser team that have empty spots on some stupid large map.  :( 

 

i have wasp/fire combo in my main hight rank account, i do wasp/fire with friends to do our missions on empty servers, now we can't.  :( 

 

no more 1st mission prizes for me i guess.  :(

join any battle that starts right before server restart, it will end instantly and you'll finish first as long as no one on your team manages to get any points within the few seconds

this is pretty stupid. I see 2 future DMs, first one is captain to commander, second one is 1st lieutenant to fieldmarshal... I see 2 kolhoz ctf, 1st is 1St lieutenant to marshal, 2nd is 2nd lieutenant to general... like can't the battle button create different maps instead of battles with game modes and maps excatly the same as existing ones except with 1 small change in the rank bracket? i want highways but there's not a single one, yet i see so many battles nearly the same.

I don't know where TO gets its business sense, but it's horrible. 

• Overdrive has ruined the game
• I hate the way the supplies now work
• I'm tired of being forced to play on maps I don't like
• I'm tired of having to play in modes I don't like to complete Daily Missions
• I'm tired of having to endlessly search for battles close to my rank
• This update solves no real problems
• But, despite all this, TO made a pretty penny on its Moscow Pack, and so my opinion won't matter
• And, by the way, I hate this update

​I see myself playing until my current mission chains die out, which will likely be the end of this week. But after that, I think me and my 18-19 accounts have had it. This game was so much funner about three years ago.

2.I don't really know how to find my friends now, we all used to meet up in one certain server but this update makes it so Hard to find anyone.

3.The General chat is a mess, that's for sure.

4.The high ranker's are really being a pain now, they all used to hang out in EU1 but wait there are no EU's now.

5.What will none-mods really benefit from this update?

6.If I were to update the chat, here's how it would look like:

Tanki Should give us back the "Creat" Button in Non pro now, because most maps are large ones.

 

Tanki favors Long rage Turrets with this update, i'm a Short range player (Firebird & hammer) and i can't play on large maps anyway because my computer is lame and i always get 999 ping on large maps, please Admins tell Tanki to Undo this.  :(

So far it's okay. Battle, no lag for now. For chat channels. we all know general will be overcrowded.

 

As for other channels, I studied the Q&A, a few came to ask a couple questions, I don't know if there is meant to be a tanki official always present there. And yeah, many other chats are being unused.

 

 

However, I do stress the urge for a much better battle filtering system.

 

Possible additional filters: 

Small/Medium/Large Map

Non pro / Pro

Format type.

 

During peak times, I'm pretty sure the list will be very huge

Overral, it's a good update, but you really gotta change the maps, we want some short range maps, also please remove 1st mission because we cant do it anymore, i have only 16 speed boost how i'm supposed to be first place in a 10 vs 10 battle ?  :(

Low rank noobs keep joining losing battles, thus making things worse for the losing team. You need to make rank brackets shorter, because those same noobs are the ones who will be abandoning the game sooner, followed by frustrated players who play honestly.

 

The only ones who'll remain are those that only join winning battles and have mults.
