TBH, I played TO a bit more than 1 year..

Initially I was not interested in this game, and I quit it in just one month of joining. Reason was quite clear: Druggers.

Every battle I joined since Wo1-Wo5... I would end in the last.. cus my m1 combo was no match for the m2.5s freeze.

So I rage quit Tanki..

Then I came back in October, and I came across pro battles, earlier I cud not afford the pro pass but then I spent all my crystals at that time  into pro pass

And that was my best decision.

I saved enough to buy Dictator n used to grind in polygon n then I slowly n steadily grew...n now I have 2 m2.5s n 1/3 for an m3 product kit...

And then came war, and I came into tanki forum as a member..

And that was another nice decision I made.. Since then till date, I made new friends, some very close friends,,,I am sure I m gonna meet them irl someday...

So my point is Tanki is a game for many so people play it like a game and they hate it when they find unfair balance..

But if u play it with frnds u forget ur stress and u start to enjoy the company u share.. n u start loving the game..

Overall most people are raged due to updates but life is all about changes....n m happy Tanki is changing too, cus we grow bored of old things so quick...

And moreover Tanki is trying new stuff, and I appreciate that..

Tanki is more fun to play now than in 2017, but it was much better in 2015 and earlier, so my vote is still a resounding NO.  The Paint Separation marks the beginning of the downfall for me even thought that particular update was fairly benign...it was the start of a long string of ill conceived updates.

The containers and recent ASL and RGB have made a big improvement.  With the containers everyone has choke drugs so, even though drug use is greater and absolutely necessary in non-pro daily mission battles, they are only a distraction from game play as you decide which drug to use next.  At least you don't have to worry much about your supply cache.  The only real drug now is the repair kit...it still gives one pause as to whether it is time to use one or not...conservation is still present...DD is automatic either before clicking a S or just after, DA if there is time before you die, and then the actual contemplation...should I pull the pin on a repair kit?

RGB is a great format although a real drug fest.  ASL is interesting and fun as long as you can choose attack or defend based on the battle list.  When MM enters the picture ASL will go to hell quickly since luck will be the controlling factor of  team choice.  At this point, both formats have freshened the game overall.

Something I am starting to see recently is that all the crystals people are getting from the containers and high weekly rewards means there are more and more fully MUed turrets and hulls at all ranks.  So again Tanki has found a way to homogenize the game.  If everyone can quickly acquire  a fully MUed tank, no one has an advantage...just like if everyone has tons of drugs, no one has an advantage.

The gold box update was a shame.  It's still nice to catch a gold box, but it is just luck now and being in the right place at the right time.  The real fun of trying for golds has been gutted...just like all of Neo-Tanki...still fun, but not as much fun as it used to be.

Oh well, I intend to enjoy what has been left to us while I still can.  MatchMaking is looming on the horizon and that will remove the last vestiges of what made Tanki fun.  With no choice or control in almost anything, Tanki will become just a casual diversion, a time waster type of game instead of a game where players are devoted to the game.

About matchmaking.....it could be a decent enough update. But only if it's implemented at the same time as free custom battle creation and Tanki gets rid of the more boring missions like the collect drops missions, that will be a chore that practically encourages multing with MM.

It's entirely possible that free custom battles will finally give the variety that's desperately needed in no-supplies battles, cos currently the map choices get so boring and many high rank no-supplies battles are littered with cheaters. In my experience, the only no-supplies battles relatively free from likelihood of cheats are XpBp CTF battles, where players generally play fair. Cheater mult-users seem to have less of an impact on big map drugs or no-drug battles with 8+ genuine participants on each team that want to win the battle. So if free custom battles gives us this, Great!!

Not being able to choose a map to complete missions is junk of course, but being given only exp and cry gain missions would lessen the time we have to play in MM battles if we don't like the system. However, if Tanki actually play it smart, MM could be good if it finally gives us balanced battles, rather than having to trawl through a list of mismatches to find a decent battle, as it currently is.

Don't forget the "battle-groups".

A team made of mixed-random-players going up against a mini-clan is a disaster waiting to happen.

Tanki-X has this, and those battles are far from balanced. Really - they are a farce - most end up 10-0 or 100-30.

Why I hate tanki now is because

1.Nobody talks english, feels like playing alone

2.Gold box drop is unfair, forget catching it if you hp is low or using heavy tank.

3.Saving crystals is extremely hard for casual players

4.MU time is very long.

5.Grinding Poly CP is boring, others maps don't reward you much.

3.Saving crystals is extremely hard for casual players falseeeeeeeeeee. i will buy my second m3 kit tomorrow, and i have not wasted any money, just completing missions.

4.MU time is very long. MU-ing is useless for me, the difference is nothing.

5.Grinding Poly CP is boring, others maps don't reward you much. u can grind by completing missions, it's more easier and u get more crys from that.

u hate tanki because u don't know how to play a game...

I don't see how. If I have a CTF mission and I want to complete it in RIO CTF, I will have to be lucky to find it. I will waste a lot of time.

The trouble here is "balanced battles" mean something completely different to Tanki than to us...or at least most of us.  Balance to me is pretty much equal rank brackets or equal-ish "effectiveness ratings" and this is how Tanki originally pitched deciding on where you would be placed in a battle with MM.  Recently they just said a "balanced battle" didn't mean close rank brackets or even close effectiveness ratings.  All MM needs for balance is a balance of teams.  So, it can place very low ranked (weak) players in with very high ranked (strong) players as long as there is the same amount of low ranked (weak) players on the other team...balance by Tanki standards.  If you are one of those low ranked players you get slaughtered.

I'm already preparing myself to lose my favorite game becasue I am 90% sure MM will pretty much be junk.

Just play pro battles

Realistically the only way to just play pro battles is to be a buyer.  Without the huge weekly mission reward (especially the 3 containers), it would very quickly become impossible to upgrade enough to stay competitive as you rank up.  As it is now, you either pay real money to buy equipment and crystals or you must do daily missions to reap the crystal rewards to buy the equipment and upgrades.

So you need to be a buyer in order to pay 4500 crystals for a Pro battle pass? You clearly don't understand what buyer means then and I ain't even going to waste my time explaining it.

I do what I have to do to finish at least 1 mission in 30 min, if not all. Then I just play pro battles. Not that hard.

You might consider reading an entire post before you spew.  I will say it again...playing Pro-Battles only is not a real option unless you are a buyer (one who buys crystals and gear from the shop) because you need to do missions and complete mission chains in order to to generate income.  If you don't generate income you can not be competitive (you can't upgrade/acquire equipment).  So either buyer or do missions/chain.

Do you understand now?  ..not hard

The most fun I ever had in the game was when I was a Captain.

I had Hornet/Rico fully upgraded with lots of drugs and I just slaughtered everything.

Played every Rio I could get into, go to the roof, slaughter.

It does seem that when ppl talk about fun, they usually mean slaughtering everyone. I agree that is fun, but I've been getting some really tough, close games lately

I feel Tanki has gone consistently downhill with almost every update since the paint separation update.

More than half of the Tanki updates since early 2013 have ruined the game. Development has been focused on two groups: buyers and new players. It's clear to anyone who has been playing for several years that the changes cater specifically to making the game too easy (and too expensive in either time or $)....it all started back when they began marking the drop locations for supplies. Another was Shaft's laser (what sort of imbecile puts a visible laser on a "sniper"?). Twins unnecessary self damage ruined its close quarters combat. Overdrive (and before that the stupid staggered timing of supplies) took away the ability to better control supply combos. Removing Isidas self-healing "vampirism" (another dumb idea that took away a key strength). The cost of MUs...the constant fiddling with the way MUs work....the ridiculous cost (time and crys) of speedups. Holy sht...the recent matchmaking BS is a nightmare.  The notion that players now need to pay for PRO passes just to be able to pick matches. That has to be the biggest display of stupidity in recent memory.

I could add hundreds of negatives to this list going back as far as 2013. There's only one reason I stick around....and it isn't for regular gameplay. ;-)  I've found other ways to have a little fun. Otherwise I'd have left this trash heap years ago.

I guess removing OP and frustrating mechanics is a bad thing. Go figure.

True. Now lets remove the most OP mechanics in Tanki. Lets remove drugs and splash.
