Bettle time decrease , well from 10 to 9 .. just the same . The difference came from 15 to 10 mins where suddenly all battle tactics are out of the window ,

MM , i said it when tested 1.5 y ago , and i said it when implied , I predicted to see nr of players reduce fast after and the game to be over by Xmas- NY , So far i have been right , but probably they just will keep it alive , for the few remaining players . Now they do star week after star week in the hope some people will join in to keep the game alive but it will wear of soon . They also made the M0 in 20 steps to M1 , all in order to have new accounts coming in and stay playing .

The single biggest flaw is the MM part . I went to the Russian forum ... since it is the biggest community and google translate helping me to read , and you will see which topic comes out on top ... +500 pages on MM allready and still active and they are not happy campers .

I miss 2013 - 2014 a lot.....

yellow gold drop sign, no drop locations, crystal boxes, daily rewards not daily missions, not a lot of buyers, you can actually make normal battles, you can do missions in pro when they came out...

you know the reasons why people played the game that are now all gone

When there are problems to the game, the devs answer them only by creating more problems and not really fixing the original problems.

You mean like when Vulcan had an overheat issue due to changes to firebird?

That they '"fixed" by increasing it's damage and tripling the spin-up time?

Or when players felt it was taking too long to get into MM battles?

So they displayed "average waiting times" that are obviously not close to being accurate, and obviously don't take into account players who waited 60, were frustrated, hit exit, tried again and got in within 4 seconds.  System - "hey - it only took that player 4 seconds. lets add that and re-calculate average"

Those kinds of "fixes"?

Yes.

And when they decided to nerf the short range capabilities, what did they do?

They made its reload depend on how much charge time the player didn't use which added to the overall reload time.

You can just have the 100% power ready, and wait for an enemy to pass by and blow it up right in their face and then go hide for 3.5 seconds and lob another shot at them. By then the enemy is probably dead.

The result was a buff in the long range capabilities and the short range capabilities. SMH

I was watching random videos on YouTube. One I found was put out by a guy who flips houses and videoed remodeling and repair bloopers of previous owners. He opened the cabinet door under the kitchen sink and there was a garden hose faucet attached to the wall of the cabinet with a water line running to it. The line to the kitchen sink faucet was disconnected. The comment made by the guy making the video was, "I wonder if that's how they tried to repair a leaky faucet." Later in the video he hooked up the sink faucet. Not only was it leaking, there was a steady stream of water.

Reminded of some of Tanki's "fix-it" jobs.

Wow, the new maps (Bobirusk, Magistral, Sanbox, etc) have become just like the old maps in MM.  All the choke points removed, big lanes, no hidding places, just bash and hack, and bash and hack, ad infinitum.

The devs have trashed and homogenized the game so much that it is 80% luck now and maybe 20% skill.  A poorly skilled player is now competitive at any level...grab a Firebird and away you go.  A lousy player may not get top scores but they will still do OK...probably place in the middle of the team standing if they play the entire nine minutes (8 1/2 minutes by the time they spawn in on a no lag day).

I started a new alt account to try my luck with the star thing.  I shredded with a Fire/Wasp.  There are no real beginners anymore...there are just players like me making new alt accounts because the gameplay is less insane drug crazed and therefore more fun.  Tanki has changed so much it is jut a bland game now.  The last bit of fun was during The War...now with these junk star events it is even worse than normal...players quit as soon as they see they are not going to get two or three stars...even on the winning side!

I wish there was a way Tanki cold launch a retro Tanki...even a pay to play Retro Tanki.  I'd send them $100 a year to play real Tanki instead of PonyTail Boy's version of Tanki.

It's still more fun to play than when I started.

I just wish I was 16 right now so I could've had the spare time I once had but in this version.

The spawn killing in Polygon DM back in 2011-2012 was not fun; finding yourself between the Marshals with your M0 equipment desperately trying to catch blue boxes lol.

personally I think its easier now since in 2014 you cannot see the damage dealt to enemies, and you had to remeber all the paints protection, but now, you can see modules clearly and easy to see your damage. Containers are good too, and it probably is designed to replace the old crystal boxes, and I think thats worth it. Daily missions give you so many supplies and crystals and that means I love tanki now than before.

When I play tanki online these days I feel like I'm walking through a ghost town. Lots of people left the game and it just doesn't feel right anymore. Matchmaking has also made the game more anonymous and removed user choice, which I don't like.

Magistral is pretty good though.

As the game itself, I think it was indeed more fun back then, there were more players as well as the battles were more epic, it was waay harder to get crystals, I barely had enough to get Fighter kit (for example) and warrant officer 4 which is basically its last rank, whereas now I bought it at Sergeant-Major with the help of some premium without buying anything for $$.
I honestly think it' s like a 55/45 ratio to what was before/what is now

I've been playing for more than 4 years don't judge my rank

Now that I've been playing for 2+ years, I'm going to say that it was more fun to play in 2016-early 2017. Sure, jump hackers were rampant, but it didn't feel like a grind and drugging was rare in the low ranks. Also, the quality of the game was much greater back then! Sounds felt crisp and clean (except for striker's sound effects which I thought would be replaced soon), the game lagged less and overall it was a much more enjoyable experience. Now... it just feels like a crummy mobile game with poor quality and workmanship.

What's wrong in updates? I like changes in game. For now, I am waiting for new overdrives...

There is nothing wrong with updates in general. But that's if they aren't bad, like all the ones they are adding to the game.

Well, I like most of the recent updates. Overdrives, Drones, New modes etc. It provides diversity to game. Also Matchmaking is good because it allow us to have fair and balanced gameplay.

This game is at least as good now as it was last year. Battles are super intense with a lot going on and there is so much free stuff that f2p player can keep up to somewhat with buyers.

With the latest new alterations and overdrives, the developers have made increasingly difficult to complete missions let alone the monthly challenges. Of course you can BUY or way through the challenges by purchasing stars now.......... All they want is to keep you in the so called MM system that nothing but a fricking joke. One sided battles. Here they come, ok, you tankers do know that there are several formulas that admin goes by. They are NOT let known to us takers either. Hopefully alot of you have figured this out by now. I am done with the challenges and misssions untill they can get their sh it together.

Tanki Online back in 2013 and 2014 was a blast. I get nostalgic just thinking about it. Tanki Online isn't as enjoyable as it once was.

The last update I remember actually being eager for was the introduction of Vulcan and Hammer.
