This time I am writing a guide about a hot subject, and one prone to disagreement: “Campers”. However, in this article I will be looking at the neglected aspect of it, which I’m pretty sure people have been waiting for: How to deal with Campers!

* * *

Intro

Freshly spawned, you look right and then you look left... all is well. Within the safety of your own base, you are surrounded by friendly faces. You start to wander around to stretch your tank tracks. After a while you gain a speed boost and venture with self-confidence onto the battlefield. Suddenly, BOOM, right at the corner of your base and you drop dead! “What the heck. What happened?” After this chock, you take a big breath to calm down. Looking at the right panel, you see the dreaded words "[Hy6-Кдмpeя] destroyed [Me] with Shaft" :( While securely nested on the enemy base, a devilish camper has just delivered hell to an innocent (and naïve tanker) that was showing his angel face outside the heaven of his base. With his power bar charge to full throttle, you stood no chance – it was a straight one-kill shot. Ok, that was just warm up time, let’s reset. You compose yourself and respawn on another spawning spot. Now that you are better prepared for the battle, you gamble cautiously your way to the other side of the map, far from [Hy6-Кдмpeя]. Yeah! You managed to reach the middle of the map following a pathway which offers good cover, then follow the hidden side road leading to the rear of the enemy base. Out of sight, you check that the last leg, to reach the flag, is free. All is fine, then you collect a speed boosted while rushing to catch the enemy flag… BOOM, dead again! “Noooooo”. It’s that noob camper [Hy6-Кдмpeя] once more, but this time he was looking after the flag with his mighty laser. “Bloody Mary, why me! What I did wrong? What can I do against campers?”

If you had a look at the TO Newspaper archives for some tips that would give a start of an answer to these questions, well, fat chance. I looked there and all I could find was articles about how to improve Camping: “The Pathological Camper”, “A Sniper's Sniping Spots”, “Tent Things Regarding Camping”, and so on... Nada regarding how to “Exterminate these pests called Campers”. So, I think it is time to grasp the nettle and start to tackle this vital subject. We will start by swiftly looking at the four different types of campers. Then we would review the following two options: Hunting down or Avoiding? I prefer the former option because it is far more rewarding (technically and emotionally), so I will explain how I do it: the five steps Camper-Hunt (a.k.a LACED). To finish we would look at two campers scenarios and show how I dealt with it using LACED.

⨁ 4 Types of Campers

When you introduce a subject about camping, by default, we always think about the deadly long-range turret club: obviously the Shaft always come to mind first, closely shadowed by the Railgun, and not too far behind, comes the Magnum (yeap, the popularity of the artillery turret as the most hated turret is gaining pace on the leaders). However, the “Camper family” is broader than the three turrets listed above. By definition, “camper” encloses any tank that stands in one place and wait patiently to kill you: either sniping from high ground or from behind an obstacle or simply in ambuscade in the corner of the base or just sitting arrogantly on the coveted flag. Therefore, the list of potential camper’s equipment does not stop at the long-range turrets club but includes all combo of hulls and turrets. I just made your day even worse :D
To start with, keep in mind that knowing the type of camper will help you to defeat him. I have clustered them into four distinct group specifying his behaviour, his motivation and his game goal:

Long-range Camper: They are only interested to retain a high K/D ratio and they will never venture outside the safety of the base. Capping flags or capturing points? What for? When they play CTF or CP or TDM, they think that they play DM. The more frags they obtain, the more contented they get. This type of camper is the hardest to eliminate, because they are out of reach in the heart of the base, sitting at an inaccessible spot and usually surrounded by a protective fence of mines or worse - a zealous Isida elf. Long-range campers are twice as deadly and annoying as any other campers because they are equally deadly at long range and at short range, and when required, they look after the flag too.

YbvSKZn.png

Those poor long-range Campers pictured above are not camouflaged and are located on the outskirt

of their base, therefore they are easy to spot and to access and to destroy. Hi guys! You are dead.

Mongoose-Camper, it's a sub category, unlike any-other lazy camper, this camper focus on strong opponents. Yes, like Mongoose it is not afraid of hunting snakes or strong predators, including one of the most dangerous creatures on Earth - the dreaded King cobra. It does not look for personal short term benefice, but in contrary it looks for a long term benefice for the team. How does this help the team? Simple, reducing the move and action of the strongest opponent significantly decrease the effectiveness of the whole enemy team. Killing the best and the strong, is equivalent to eliminate 2 to 3 of the standard opponents. However this is a rare type (because they are smart people and "smart campers," who ever heard of them?). However if you find one, focus on him and hunt down asap.

Midfield Camper: Either hiding in a strategic place that's hard to get to or close to the providence of a drop zone (Repair Kit, Double Damage, …), they primarily look for frags and flags capture. They literally prey on both, so they will look for weak and wounded tanks, and windows of opportunity to get to the flag. They are heavily armed and drugs a lot. They continuously keep testing your base's defences, creating holes and spawn-killing whenever possible. This type is easier to hunt down, because they take more risks.

Jr20rAx.png

This Midfield Camper has broken through our base defense and kill everyone on spot.

Fully drugged, mobile and heavily armed, I stood no chance.

Ambush Camper: They are very similar in mindset to Midfield campers, but they operate in the base and its close vicinity. They wait out of sight behind a wall, at the end of a long and narrow corridor or in some dark corner of the base. Ambush campers wait quietly and then pounce on the unaware enemy, with Freeze, Firebird, Hammer or Shaft, and now Magnum too. They look for frags and xps/points by killing the flag carrier and returning the flag. They like defending; it is an obsession. They are persistant and they are ready to wait the time required. They are quite tough to get, unless you come prepared. Also, you can't really avoid them because they stand close to what you covet most. They do not come to you; you come to them.

KhyOj8J.png

An Ambush Camper in my base (Magnum/Hunter) strategically placed in a safe corner protected

by a mine placed on one of the Red’s base entrances and facing the red flag.

The King Camper: While sitting imposingly on the flag, they wait defiantly for any foe that has survived all the other campers line of defenses. It is the most boring job in the world (or even universe), especially when their own team dominates the game and nothing happens by them, resulting in no points. I don’t really understand their motivation, but as they are on my way to the flag, I have to deal with them. They won't let me pass even if I ask nicely, will they?

Do not be fooled. All those campers might look for easy frags, but they all know that without a victory from their team they will get squat. Just like you they do not want to be on the losing side as they need the crystals, so they will always keep in mind to act on the overall benefit of the team (95% of the time). Therefore, a team with numerous camper can still win a game.

⨁ Hunting Down or Avoiding?

What do you want to do? Do you want to hunt down the pesky camper, or do you want save time and your life by living with it and trying to avoid them?

The answer lays in your own hand. Based on the assessment of the situation at a given time, you take the decision that seem the best for you. To do so, you will need to collect information on the campers, survey the map layout, assess the teams’ composition/strength, and take your own garage content in consideration. Once done, you will be able to list pros and cons that will determine the obvious course of action for you. In the end, you either take the decision to go for it or do just the opposite. In the worst case, you might find out that your team is not fitted to take care of the camper or even win this game. In that scenario you better lay low until the end of the game, and hopefully in the next game you will draw a better team. Let's review the two options.

Hunting down: First of all, hunting is rewarding, at least emotionally. You will be filled with jubilation as you see the camper succumbing under your turret of justice. You will ask him/her “Do you have any valediction before you die boyo! Yes, being a camper you are without doubt the worst tanker on the whole Tankiverse!”. On a good day, I will disregard any sort of caution, or battle objective, and just go for it. Making it personal; a raw vendetta without reins. I would harass the camper until the end of the game, breaking him by attrition till he complain about me killing him again and again.

Secondly, going after campers benefits the team. You are clearing the way for the flag holder by eliminating an imminent threat that either protect the enemy flag or that would snipe you on the back when you try to return home. Therefore, eliminating the camper will give you precious time for escaping, as the camper need to respawn, drove back into position and/or get a drop to get stronger.

Thirdly, campers provide security to their teammate. They drastically reduce the numbers of their approaching dangerous, thus reducing the strength of your attack. Additionally, they support their offense team by killing or wounding defenders, thus making their attack stronger. So by killing the sniper/camper, you reverse the power balance and bring back an advantage to your team that could lead to domination of the battlefield.

Finally, in a map like Brest, over time as you keep eliminating campers from one side, you shift them to the other side. Consequently, instead of having an even line of defence covering the whole map, the respawning enemy team tends to aggregate on one side of the map, rendering it stronger. This creates a deadly side (a sniper alley) where you should not venture, but in contrast leaves a weak side (free of snipers). You should conduct attack on the latter side since the snipers don't have viability to the opposite side.

Avoiding: You keep your tank in the dark and cling to the edge of the wall like moss. Good choice when operating under the radar; the enemy campers can't see your whereabouts. You can unexpectedly appear, boldly snatched the flag, and leave the crime scene as fast as you rushed in. Avoiding the camper by using a more secure route guarantees no easy frags for them, and they usually get bored or frustrated after a while. In the end, they will focus on easier target and leave you alone. Avoiding them also helps to keep your health full for longer, thus increasing your chance of getting the flag, or allowing additional time to convert a control point when the defense is strong.

mvYwkDq.png

With the flag, returning home, I manage to get closer to my base with 90% of life left.

However, a Blue Shaft is waiting for me to move in his line of sight. 3 options are available:

1) Rush in your base and die (or get flipped by the recoil),

2) Wait and take the Double Armor drop then drive slowly in the open (50/50 chance of surviving),

3) Take the drop and try the opposite entrance (chance is over 50%).

However, avoiding campers is a difficult task, especially on a busy map. You need to know all the safe routes by heart, decide when to cross an open space, and keep an eye on all the danger zones at all times. Only experience, or being an ex-camper/camper yourself, will help you to improve and succeed in that art. As an attacker, avoiding campers require skill and a good battle sense as the battlefield is constantly evolving. You also need to mind the non-campers that cross the map, so you know where danger might come from and how to prevent or neutralise it. In this game, patience is a must. It is all about timing and trying to trick the campers. If you are an Isida player, you will definitely know what I’m talking about.

So Hunting down or Avoiding? To me, avoiding is, in the end, not the best way to deal with a camper. Nevertheless, the skill you will learn from practicing avoidance and dodging them will increase your map awareness, battle radar, and ultimately your lifespan on the battlefield. This is a skill to keep in your sleeve and use to successfully hunt down the campers by being able to reach them alive and with full strength. Therefore, acting upon the threat posed by the campers is the overall best solution to your problem and it will contribute to lead your team to victory. How to do it? See next chapter.

⨁ The 5 Steps Camper-Hunt: LACED

You want to know how to fruitfully search for and destroy that pesky camper? Not easy, as it involves detailed preparation, relentless attainments, a good garage and tip-top execution. Here is my 5 steps process to the Camper-Hunt, LACED: Locate - Assess - Change - Eliminate - Discourage

#1 Locate your camper
"Duh? What BS is that," you might say. Yes, it is true that long-range campers using Railgun, Shaft, Striker or Magnum are easy to spot, because all you need to do is to follow Railgun's trail, the laser beam or the parabolic dotted line (of the artillery shell) to its point of origin. However, in certain case the camper might have moved (retreating behind a wall or the slope of the bridge) while you respawned, be well hidden in a deep row of bushes (e.g. Lost Temples and Kungur), or died and respawned too. Also don’t forget that the midfield campers using mid-range turrets (e.g. Thunder, Hammer and Smoky) won’t be easy to spot as we can’t track back the shells or pellets form their turrets. The most annoying one is the Smoky and the Thunder (with the splash damage), sometimes 3-4 long shoots hit you before you find the enemy location, especially on large map. And to finish, you won’t see Ambush Campers until you get to them. Undeniably in most cases a simple observation allows to locate the camper quickly, and good read of the map layout make it even easier, however in other cases you will need to scout to find out (and often die in the process).

#2 Assess strengths and weaknesses of the target
The next part is to evaluate the strength of the target, so you know what you are against, find its weakness, and focus on it to turn it to your advantage. So once the location found, you would measure the difficult of getting to him. The further the camper is inside the base the more difficult the task to reach him unarmed. Of course, if the camper is isolated on a corner of the map or close to your base, then it would be an easier task.

Ask yourself this question: in order to get to the camping spot, do you need to drive through open space, or is there a safer path? If the former, you might consider using long-range and mid-range turrets. If the latter any turret will do. You would also consider eliminating the threat remotely or at close range, your choice really.

Is there an Isida patrolling that can heal the camper? If so the task is harder, and you would have to attack when the healer is not around or consider destroying them first. Also, find out the mastery level of the camper’s hull and turret, as well as the details of the protection module it wears. For this use the R / V key to find out precisely. That would give indication of its weakness.

b3ZxCUn.png

Use the R/V key to identify / confirm campers’ equipment mastery and protection modules.

#3 Change your equipment if required
After evaluating strengths and weaknesses of the camper, you might need to adapt your tank combo to fit the task ahead; try to reduce your own weakness and boost the strength of your tank.

Firstly, is your protection module optimal against the enemy's turrets? Even if this is not the best you have (low %), it will still give you an edge. it’s better than having 0% protection against the camper’s turret. Also, if you use a protection module with 2-3 protections, make sure to choose additional one that have protection against Isida (if around) and/or against any other turrets that you will find near the camper or on the path to him. For example, on maps like Highways and Brest, it is obvious that you need to take Railgun and Shaft protection modules. In the instance you choose to tackle the camper remotely, you would be exposed to long range turrets, so wear protection against those. If you must get inside the enemy base, you will have to fight against short-range turrets, so select a protection against those.

Secondly, select a turret at a good modification level that the camper does not have a protection against, thus increasing the efficiency of your attack. If tackle the camper from afar, use a turret that delivers a deadly shot in one go (Shaft, Striker, Railgun, Magnum). If the camper is well protected, use turrets with splash damage (Magnum, Striker, Thunder) or with ability to get into tight corners (Ricochet). If the camper is not alone, melee turrets (Firebird, Freeze, Twins) that tackle multiple enemies is the best. Alterations are useful here too; sport any of them that can increase your firepower (have a look in the wiki to find out the one for your preferred weapon).

Thirdly, take a hull that have a good modification level for, preferably fast and low profile (either Hornet or Viking). This is especially important for if you plan to travel across the whole map. Slim hulls will help you to slink between mines set up. Mid-weight hull, in the other hand, will help you to survive any encounter with mine protecting the camper or to face head on a camper close by. If you choose to take the camper remotely, use preferably hull with similar health or higher health than the camper.

Finally, I strongly suggest you change from a show-off paint to one more discreet. The less visible you are the more chance to surprise your opponent. As an example, cloak yourself with the White paint or Irbis on the winter themed maps, or grey coloured paints (Metallic paint) in urban maps. The Green paint, the Forester paint or even better the Lead paint or the most suitable one for maps displaying a considerable amount of grass and bushes (e.g. Forest, Kungur). Be smart and blend in the map layout.

#4 Eliminate the threat
For campers hidden in the heart of their base, you need to equip close-combat equipment. Also, seek the help of teammates for support. They can create a diversion or can be useful to smother the defence so you can sneak unseen and unarmed in the base to take care of the camper. Additionally, going with teammates has several advantages such as 1) multiple targets for the enemy (less chances for you to get hit), 2) numbers help to kill any solitary opposition faster, and 3) if you die, they can still finish the job you started. Therefore, prior to leave your base, let know your team via the chat that you are going after a specific target. Say something out like “Going after the Shaft camper right corner of the base! Who is with me?” Then depart and follow the most covered pathway to the camper, using caution and harvesting the drops available.

Near the target, to have a good outcome, try to attack while you have an edge over your opponent. What I mean is if the camper has any Double Damage and/or Double Armor, or if you are low on health, then it is better to wait for back up or that his drugs run out. Wait for the camper to shoot (or just used a lot of its energy pool) before pouncing on him. You need to take any opportunities to go for the kill. Other prospects are to attack the camper from behind, attack with full health, attack when fully drugged, or attack with the Overdrive ready for use (95-100%).
If you want to eliminate the threat from afar, you need to attack from a blind spot where the enemy can’t hit you back (not immediately at least). Once you found it, wait for the right moment: as soon as the camper lets his guard down (looking for a supply, laying a new mine, or looking for help from an Isida) or when he is the most vulnerable (the Isida supporting him died or is away, or if the camper has just been hit by one of your team mate). If the camper is well protected, you have 2 options. 1) continue to harass him, so he won't be able to kill anybody till you die or he dies, or 2) you will have to get your hands dirty and get closer to the target.

#5 Discourage further camping
Mission completed, you successfully killed the vermin. O life, o sweet life. Hold your horses! You are not finished with the camper yet. Duh! This kind will respawn and restart his favourite hobby: Camping. If you really want to fully enjoy the hunt and kill his moods then you must spawnkill him, or at least prepare a little surprise for him if he come back to his camping spot. If he is not coming back you can still stay where you are and keep the surprise for any other noob camper that want to use this free spot. To do so, set an ambush by placing a mine (on the access ramp or behind a bush) and then wait hidden for them. If the area is unsafe, move to a safer location in the vicinity from where you can catch up with him again. I must say it’s my favourite part. I killed a player 4 times in a row like this (see case study below). Also, in Highways map, it is so much fun to hide in the enemy base, either behind the houses on the top level or on the small edges of the map (top 3 levels). Then you can kill whatever comes by, usually Railgun and Magnum campers, by using the bridges slopes as cover.

⨁ Hunting Scenarios

Here are two examples of camper-hunt that I have experienced to demonstrate the LACED approach.

1/ Cheeky Shaft in Solikamsk
Osa is a rather big map, filled with numerous drops and extending on 2 levels, which offers many hiding places and camping spots. I joined the party midway (CTF 4-2) and tried to bring back the enemy flag a couple of time but I got killed each time by a cheeky Shaft. Fade up with this camper, whom appears to have a Russian girl name, I decided to go after her. She has been killed only 2 times since the start of the game and hold a K/D above 6. Basically, nobody noticed her or just felt like it does not matter to take care of her!11!!11 Challenge accepted.

  • Locate: She is hiding in the far-left corner of the red base; so I follow the laser beam.
  • Assess: Low mastery equipment: she has only a Shaft M2-Viking M2 combo with a legacy module against Railgun 12%. The white paint she is wearing hide her very well in the winter themed map (see picture), however if you just follow the laser then you can easily pinpoint your target. The camping spot is elevated and accessible by one ramp nevertheless seriously protected with 3 mines. The camper is quite isolated in the corner of this big map, so I should not encounter too many foes on the way. To summarize, lots of weakness and only the mines for protection.
  • Change: My equipment is strong enough, no need to change as I have Hornet M3, Railgun M3 (with M2 alteration: High-calibre ammo) and Irbis paint.
  • Eliminate: With full health and boosted with Double Damage I take the covered side alley that she is not looking after. My guess is that she has been unchallenged for 10 minutes and feel safe there with the 3 guarding mines. Big mistake. The target is in scope mode and aim in another directed oblivious of her close surrounding, I take this opportunity to strike. While taking the ramp I unfortunately drove on the mine but I survived. Boom, I shot her: one shot kill (Frag 1 @ 3:45). Job done.
  • Discourage: I lay a mine on the ramp and move away from the spot and hide behind one of the house nearby. The camper freshly respawned tried to get back to her spot and I one shot kill her again (Frag 2 @ 2:55). I moved closer to the flag location base. I look back and I see that she stands on the same camping spot! I could not resist to one shoot her yet again (Frag 3 @ 1:35). Then I got killed. I respawned just on the alley that lead to her preferred hiding spot, but guess what!? She came back to her favourite place! I take the double damage drop and shot her down one last time (Frag 4 @ 0:50).

The four Frags. Use the map layout for protection, cover and use the drops available to your advantage.

Mbh977i.png

End of the game, she died 6 times, 4 times it was from my hands. Mwahahahaha. Looking at her profile, it'd seem like camping with shaft is the only current strategy she is using. This is an understandable strategy because she owns only M2 equipment at a rank where everybody has M3 and more. There is not much else she can do anyway. We still did lose the game 6-4.

BHDjbuB.png
Final battle scoreboard (camper and me) and camper’s profile.

2/ Dirty Harrys (Magnums) in Brest
A slight smaller map than Osa, but with more elevations (3 levels) and wide open spaces. The map is designed for long range turrets and for those skilled with stealth abilities. If you don’t have any of those I suggest you play another map. This party had many of the formerly mentioned long range turrets: Magnums and Shafts, and at least 7 of them (out of 12 players). Where to start? I was fed up with the Magnums, so I began by hunting them down.

F7CICzA.png

Take advantage of fly over the base while respawning to gather useful information

on campers locations and drops available in their surroundings.

  • Locate: After a quick scouting, I located a pack of 4 Magnums on the terrace of the enemy base. All standing on the right corner and cover by the shielding wall.
  • Assess: They have M0 equipment: 4 M0 Magnums turrets mounted on 2 Vikings and 2 Wasps. Mostly they have no protection module, only 2 got some but not against my Smoky turrets. That’s good news. The bad news is that they hide in the heart of the base and out of reach from remote attack. The main difficulty will be to get to them with lots of strength and full health.
  • Change: They have same ranks as me, however my equipment is far better: M1 Wasp and M1 Smoky. I have no other strong equipment so I will have to use my current equipment and only the spider module (against the mine). This module is good for the moment it helps my Wasp to cope with the mines spread here and there by the tempestuous Overdrive.
  • Eliminate: As I died while scouting, I noticed that they have just activated an Overdrive, so by the time I get back to them, the effect will be gone. The mines would be under the place where the hulls stood, so not a direct threat for me. I choose to go on the left side of the map via the low level, away from the 4 Magnums’ sight and away from the two Shafts sitting on the right side. Unfortunately, I did not find any drops as I reached the back of the enemy base from behind. I peep out and as expected none of them have supplies on. So, let’s begin the killing, still unnoticed I kill the first Magnum/Viking on the top of the ramp, then I tackle the 3 others from behind. I could only kill one more, as I was busy taking screenshots for the article. Otherwise I would have killed them all. On the next trip, I would be more successful if I could get drops. But 2 out of 4 is a good result. Now they know they are not safe up there. Job done.
  • Discourage: Unfortunately, I did die. Taking four opponents in the heart of the base is not something you can get away easily with. What I would have done, is to stay close to the Repair Kit (if available) and kill or damage as many respawning enemy as possible. If no Repair Kit, stay at the same place and jump on the lowest level before you die, and cross your fingers that the other Repair Kit is available down there. Rejuvenate your tank’s health and come back.

I8090HU.png

One, two Magnums dead, two more to go.

By keeping those campers busy, you are diverting them from the flag carrier and help the team. We managed to cap four flags against zero in that game.

Outro

Camping was, is, and will always be part of this game, so forlornly complaining about it will not do you any good. Additionally, ignoring campers is another mistake. Therefore, you must accept the fact that campers exist and that you must deal with them in a properly manner. Doing so you will increase your chance of winning the game. Choose wisely the best approach and try to involve your team in the process, thus keeping under control this threat or at least disrupt campers’ activities.

Applying the 5 steps camper-hunt (LACED: Locate - Assess - Change - Eliminate - Discourage) is the most comprehensive way to successfully achieve this task. The more you train yourself with it, the more assertive you will become. The last advice I can give you is, when you approach your target, try to be unpredictable, because the less prepared the camper is, the more likely he/she will die.

On these last words, good Camper-Hunt!

- Numerous grammar errors (usually with verb tenses)
- Several sentence structure edits to give the article a better feel
- Spelling was already fine.

The article took a while to approve due to my schedule and how long the article was, but excellent job!  :D Definitely refreshing to see some more strategic thinking on how to behave in battles rather than more useless Railgun strategies. Anyways, I'm pretty sure I got to most of the major issues; let me know people if I missed anything.

Sorry I wrote it while having a Jacouzzi  ;)

Many thanks for your time correcting ze many grammar mistakes. Next time I will focus more on the point you highlighted.

most of this is common sense, what we want to know is how to take out those coward shafts at highways

and if you're gonna censor out her name you'd have to censor out the one above her head in the first picture

The "How to deal with campers" subject is vast, the guide was long enough to stay interesting. Hopefully this guide will trigger more article on the subject. The guide is for any ranks, obviously the higher the rank the more experience/common sense you gain.

There is not only one answer to that question. Usually more shaft on your side will do the trick. Anybody that managed to get near the other team flag can hide behind the house on the top floor and comfortably nested kill while hidden: that's what I usually do, with small hull 40% shaft protection and Railgun, like this you align them all from the side - mines and overdrive is mandatory in order to stay as long as possible alive and kicking. You smoother the enemy defense so more of your teammate can reach to the flag and return home. Unfortunately when MM will be implemented this option will be no longer available :/

i think you confused the map, that map is not osa

Yes, you'r right corrected. Osa was a third scenario that I didn't kept.

Damn, that's nice. You should write more guides, ma dude.

Will see, several ideas, but this takes time (2 months for this one).

You should apply for Reporter. ;)

What's wrong with publishing in the AWC? Also you saw that my grammar is disastrous/appalling, I'm here to improve. Furthermore being tarred and feathered, and abused by players, no thank you. AWC audience is more civilized. :)

Great work! Definitely someone to watch out for in the future!

Look in your rear mirror, too late you are dead. Thanks Coldplay.

Good job!

Thanks Zain.

Here's a better way to get rid of campers:

Step 1: Buy Magnum.

Step 2: Sit behind a wall.

Step 3: Kill campers.

Step 4: Realize you are a camper too.

Step 5: Give up on life Tanki.

This is handy, thanks.

Every player seems to be a camper of one kind or another at this rank.

TY.

When I started I didn't like to die so much so I swiftly shifted toward the shaft turret and long-range strategy and I was truly happy with frags and high K/D. So I'm not surprise that it is the low ranks preferred the camping. Only the fool or the experienced player will go for the flag.

But I got quickly feed up and wanted to be more involved in the game so I loomed for Midfield camper role with Hunter/Thunder. But I'm truly happy with XP/BP combo as it combines both long-range and short range battle capabilities. Ofc at short-range Railgun is not as efficient as Fierbird otherwise it would be OP.

Hum, that "fight fire with fire" is one option among many, ...many others, sadly Magnum won't work with me, you see I like to turn my turret :P. Beside it was difficult enough to force myself to learn how to do it, so I don't want to regress.

But if it work with you do it. All player have a bit of the dark side in them, we all have a camper that sleep deep in us.

I kinda wanna say you forgot a sub-type of Shaft campers: Me lmao

I have a very special mindset when camping using Shaft. While I do focus primarily on frags, I focus on a special kind of frag tactic: I frag high-ranked, better equipped targets and lodged in enemy campers.

When you see me on your team, you can count on me attempting to dislodge enemy snipers (Sometimes even an enemy Magnum) and making sure that if I don't kill an M2 target, he'll be heavily wounded and limping on 5-10% HP until someone finishes him off.

Just go to where they are at and kill them. Finished. xD . That's what I always do. Sometimes, I leave everything and go with drugs to the camper. Killing the camper has more satisfying effect than capturing a flag xD
