How to Deal with Campers!

I kinda wanna say you forgot a sub-type of Shaft campers: Me lmao

 

I have a very special mindset when camping using Shaft. While I do focus primarily on frags, I focus on a special kind of frag tactic: I frag high-ranked, better equipped targets and lodged in enemy campers.

 

When you see me on your team, you can count on me attempting to dislodge enemy snipers (Sometimes even an enemy Magnum) and making sure that if I don't kill an M2 target, he'll be heavily wounded and limping on 5-10% HP until someone finishes him off.

 lol, ok let's name this special camper type after your name: Mongoose-Camper. ^_^

This nickname fit you well! Mongoose hunt snakes, including one of the most dangerous creatures on Earth - the dreaded King cobra.

 

Mongoose-Camper, they, unlike any-other lazy camper, focus on strong opponents, yes... Why? You might ask yourself. There action is not for short term benefice, in contrary they look at long term benefice for the team. How does this help? Simple, reducing the move and action of the strongest opponent significantly decrease the effectiveness of the enemy team. Killing the best and the strong, is equivalent to eliminate 2 to 3 of the standard opponents. However this is a rare type (because they are smart people). If you find one, focus on him and hunt down asap.

 

In XP/BP polygon CP, I usually go after the best player killing or wounding whenever possible. It really make a difference, especially in a tight game.

 

Just go to where they are at and kill them. Finished. xD . That's what I always do. Sometimes, I leave everything and go with drugs to the camper. Killing the camper has more satisfying effect than capturing a flag xD

Wild Weasel tactics. Not sure if it works 1v1, but if there are two of you it should work, with one of you being the trigger for the Shaft beam. Rico (with M1 alteration) is an effective turret because can creep into those tight corners where the camper is sitting on his butt all day, complacent and  drinking his beer.

 

The other anti-camper turret is Magnum. Why? Because there is cover against direct horizontal shots (save for certain Rico shots and Thunder's splash damage), but absolutely no cover against an incoming vertical shot.

The wild weasel require team work, the Tanking role is very similar, you draw enemies attention and fire power to you while other teammates sneak behind to complete other objectives. In 1v1, you could execute part of the plan, you show yourself on the right side, then hide and drive to another side to flank the enemy or go to the flag. It needs a lot of cover, or a tunnel and being quick, because after a while the opponent will see that you pulled a dummy.

Isida is a killer nowadays, however you can only tackle one opponent at the time. While with Firebird coupled with alteration M2 (Compact tanks) is a real assassin and can tackle more than one enemy caught in the cone angle.

Great article. Just curious, what's your native language? Because if it is something that the TO Newspaper has a branch in (French/Hindu), I highly suggest you apply for being a Reporter there. Your English guides are extremely detailed, and your short story prowess isn't too shabby either. As I stated in the PM, and as BD30 already said on his edits, it's mostly the grammar that could use a little work. So I can only imagine what you can do with whatever language you're best at, unless I'm assuming something wrong and English is your best.

To win you need to master the basics. Champagne Tanki is wow, fancy and very expert but it will not make you win. You should apply simple and not overly complicated and fancy moves.

Look at Judo combat and ruby match (among others sports), what make an individual or a team win is perfect execution of the basics.
