How to do streams is up to each of us, I like thinking how to use the available game mechanics in a new way and in events, and just happen to be a CM with access to a great team of Event Helpers  :)

Just my thoughts, but why was the Halloween map DM only... No matter how hard you try, it's always full of people who can't actually turn their turrets, but use their M4s and constant drugs to make up for it...

 

I had to take a 30 minute detox after every single 15 minute battle, because I could not face playing more than 1 round at a time...

When will I be able to pick my own game from the battle list? Right now the choices are very limited so I have tried to use "lobby" but that is NOT working out for me.

 

You should be able to use the Battle List in full capacity, choosing any non-PRO battle with free spots, just one filter at a time.

I would say the initial intent was to create a common place, a common experience for all to share and talk about on Halloween.

Unfortunately I must agree. However, choosing my own battles from the battle list helped a lot, it became way easier to avoid people with M4s and constant drugs by choosing battles where my rank was the highest and not Legend rank ;)

I mean, whenever you post in the forum, there are links leading to TO on different social media platforms at the bottom of the post. I feel it's quite pointless to have it on every post and to just limit it to main posts. It's a bit overkill for an advertisement, specifically if it is associated with a CM active on the forum like you. It does conjure an aura of authorization and adds a swagger to every post, but surely it gets annoying at some point.

About the competitions we have ideas in motion :)

Battle List actively impacts performance of the servers, since looking at it sends requests to update every battle and players on it.

 

It might be not the optimal system to have, but when it's a legacy one, and you need to slowly improve it, can't rip out and replace.

Quite a few of the maps looked almost like new maps during the Matchmaking tests. I don't know about entirely new maps though.
