What will be happen if tanki re the old railgun and replace the m2 altretion with this one https://prnt.sc/hf7oj0 and make an auto equpied altretion when players enter xp/bp battles that make there rail stats like the current stats ? What will be happen ? The game gonna die ? Become unfair ? Boring ? Just what will be happen if this idea applyed ?

Hmmm , but dont you think my idea is the best for rail ? Its mix between old rail and new rail , current rail for xp/bp battles and old rail for normal battles

As much as 'i would like the old railgun back, I have to admit it was far too OP. Rail M1 could 1 shot M0 light hulls, making gunslinger arguably the best M1 kit in the game...

Although I still believe Rail is a perfectly viable option for mid to long range maps, I feel like it needs a slightly longer reload and about a 15% increase in damage. Don't throw me that danged 'The M2 alteration makes it good.' As the wiki states, 'Some of these alterations modify specific turret's parameters to alter the turret's performances during a battle, leading to an increase or a decrease on a specific parameter's value for a turret, thus modifying that turret's performances, but always remaining in between the overall game balance's boundaries.'  To me, no turret should effectively require you to pay an extra 100k to make it a good turret.

I can share that the idea and the mechanic was received well across the regions and the devs are happy with the reception.

 

What wasn't good is the situation on Friday, and the slow reaction to the glitch, which heavily impacted the reactions after.

Agreed. I don't think we realized it at the time, but having a turret which could two shot half of the hulls in the game was kinda broken.

You mean you guys don't have m5 rail with double damage constantly equipped that one shots every hull without protection against rails or heavy m4 hulls with double armor?

Oh.

I guess that is why I got bored after I played two battles on the new map and died a total of 3 times between them. I just kill anyone who comes close!

 

But really, many turrets can two shot hulls. Thunder, a very well upgraded smoky with the alt (m3.5 smoky + alt and dd 2 shots m4 titan without prot), hammer (depending...), rail (m4 1 shots up to m3 hornet without prot without using dd), and magnum (who 1 shots everyone XD) and shaft (...), and striker, whose volley of 4 shots reks anyone without prot XD

 

So ya. Its way too easy to kill people.

But this was the standard, M1 rail. No MUs or alterations required. It would comfortably one-shot all light hulls without DD, and (let's face it) people are still using M0 light hulls without prot up to WO5.

 

Gunslinger unlocks at first sergeant or something. Hornet M1 unlocks at WO3. That's a lot of ranks to one-shot people at...

Hate he 10v10 - several maps are just meant for more players. Not enough games now either. I tried for 30 minutes this morning to get in a decent ctf. Everyone jumps when there is an opening. Need 12x12 or more.

 

10x10 might change in the future, both the new format and the new maps were made to have a baseline across all modes.

 

Let's hope more map tweaks and feedback about the new format will change the game for the better :)
