Actually, most were from the war. I got about 200k total from writing contests, which was burned on MUing my equipment.

My alt @IAmTheOneAndOnly hasn't bought, has an M2 combo, 2k of each supply and around 500k crystals. I agree with you, thanks to weekly mission rewards, The War, containers, etc, it really isn't that hard to survive without buying.

And before you comment on the nub equipment, I am planning to buy two M2 kits as soon as I next rank up and they unlock. -_-

As i said before, MM puts players in random battles, and it doesn't force you to stay in 1 map, you can change the battle if you feel it's an unfair one. ;)

Not really, whenever I change battles, MM puts me in the same battles, or similar battles I don't like. It takes me about 10 minutes to find a 10 minute battle that is actually fair prior to both sides.

Hey,

Matchmaking is a very complexed system, it is extremely hard to get it so-called 'perfect' — not just for TO but for any game. It's not exactly simple to create such a system in any given game. Although Matchmaking has been around in TO for some time now, it still has and will have issues and/or problems with it. Buying may give one a slight advantage, it does not mean that buying in TO is the only way to win.

I personally have not bought in TO and yet still have a pretty decent account, with a lot of crystals, supplies and two strong combos. I can (and do) dominate in a lot of the battles, without having to spend a single dollar. I know this may be different in the higher ranks but if you take part in contests, events and other promotional activities the game has to offer, it really isn't hard to earn crystals.

If Matchmaking isn't a success then why did developers create this in the first place? I still play PRO Battles when ever I play and only play in MM for missions and PRO Battles are usually perfect battles. MM doesn't provide stable battles at all, it does the complete opposite. Even on my alternate account I'm placed against M0's with fully upgraded Smoky M1, or crushed against 4 fully upgraded M2 Thunders and Hammers. I feel like the only reason I see that MM was created was to push people into buying. It doesn't really have an effect on you and of course other people, but most battles end up in total destruction of a team

had you bought you would have a m3 combo by now and wouldn't have complained about matchmaking putting you against fieldmarshals.. (i haven't forgotten what you said a few months ago ;) )because you couldn't survive against them that's why you complained about it. -_-

I struggle to believe I complained about being put against Field Marshals on my alt in MM battles, and anyway, I would still manage to survive and thrive against Field Marshals. MM hasn't been out long enough for me to have said that "a few months ago". And I do have enough crystals to get and M3 combo if I wanted one.

You seem to have completely missed my point, I was saying that it is perfectly possible to manage in the current meta without buying.

Anyway, this is a topic for asking Nives questions, not petty squabbles about whether the game is P2W or not. Any more comments, take to PM plx  ^_^

Hey,

A system like Matchmaking was implemented to improve the game, get into battles faster and keep the time between waiting as low as possible. It's a system that is still 'learning' — it isn't perfect and everyone knows it. You will, sometimes, get into unfair battles. It's not pleasant, I know. I have been there, I know what how it feels to get completely destroyed in battles — believe me, it really is not pretty! :P

However, there is nothing to stop you from leaving the battle and joining a new one — you won't lose anything. If you wait and expect everything to be absolutely perfect, you will be waiting for a lifetime.

Matchmaking is a complex code, written by humans — humans that make errors. The next best thing we can do, as players, is to report the bugs and hope they get fixed as soon as possible. So, Keemstar — I would really love if we can stop debating about Matchmaking because you and I both know that it is not going away anytime soon. It is, in our best interests, to simply try and improve the system.

As a gamer to another gamer, player to another player, I would love it if you could report any bugs/issues you find in Matchmaking in the Help Site.

found it. it's not ridiculous for m3 against m4s... -_- thing is that you didn't have m3s cause you didn' buy -_-

And I do have enough crystals to get and M3 combo if I wanted one.

then why didn't you get one instead of complaining about having to fight m4s with your puny m2s?

what point am i mising? I am saying that you can't survive in the current meta unlike how you claim you can. that's why you complained, because you couldn't survive.

Question for :

Hey,

It seems you have a lot on your plate as of right now, the community sure has been keeping you very busy; keeping up with answering questions, translating news and announcements, Friday Raws, keeping everything together just to name a few. I am sure the iceberg goes much deeper.

My question to you is how are you able to manage time between this, your job and well, your personal life?

You mentioned the fact you are currently in a relationship, have great hobbies and not to mention the two dogs you have please share pictures of them... :P

My point is, you like to dedicate a lot of your time to the game — helping the players, understanding the game yourself and doing the job to the best of your ability. With this, you must have sacrificed a lot of time with loved ones. Do you maybe regret that?

Anyhow, we really appreciate the amount of time and effort you have put into your job as a Community Manager! :)

To be honest, I'm noticeably less active than it used to be last year, and that's because of the questions in your post. I'm not very comfortable to go deep into them, but I can say in general, being a CM for any game, works out the best when you're starting in the industry, your head is full of games and other aspects of life don't hold as much interest as playing or making games. Later in life, you start realizing there are relationships that will go away if you don't pay enough attention, family you see less and less often, and friends, who after continuous declines to go out suddenly stop asking to. So to counter being isolated into a typing machine with an occasional video appearance, you have to make choices. Right now mine are to continue working as hard as I can and need to, while slowly remembering the route to public transport, and not just how to get some food and run back before people saw you

Thanks for closing the door on the flood bois

That was not an answer I was expecting but it works too. :D Although I have always believed that family should come above all, it is sometimes needed to sacrifice time with them to focus on other things; working as a Community Manager for example.

Could we possibly see a few pictures of the dogs you mentioned, unless they are circling the Forums already and I have yet to notice them?

Of course. I'm that guy always wearing same baseball cap and a hoodie.

the russian football hooligans really impressed me in marseille during the last euro  I really admire them, they are so much better than the little girls we have here in paris.

are the russian baseball hooligans like the football ones?

I solved the issue, you're too lazy to follow through. No longer my issue, but yours.

or just dont found it enough enjoyable

or maybe prefer do other things

and whole process is boring btw

play-wait-play-wait-oh want play-better not cuz of save xp and wait better moment for playing... and whole of this you must think about this account and load your mind. I dont find game enjoyable at all anymore you ask me why i dont want do this boring thing. Everything is just to have strong account in noob levels of the game, whats the point of that, you found Very enjoyable to play vs weak players with weak equipment, must i talk something about this and what this talk about you, huh? Did you thinking about this and why you actually do it? If you think about it can understand how sad is actually...

Why aren't we allowed to buy holiday paint ( from the garage ) during an event?

I wanted to get the April Fool's Paint but could not purchase it from the garage as it did not have a price on it. Has the buddle paints ( which can be purchased from the shop ) replaced this feature?

Yeah, some holiday paints are worth wasting the crystals for.

Why did you guys stop putting holiday paints for purchase in the garage? They weren't cheap, so your average Joe wouldn't be able to get it anyway. But those who could afford it, and liked it, could have bought them simply for a price in the garage.

You wanna play with me, someday? :3
