Okay so, I've done some research and It seems like many people are suffering from the same issue. Purchases can't be done through steam and this was reported several times, an alternate that you can do is log in through the browser version of the game or download the client for the purchase.

Like @MSI said before, you cannot buy from Steam. It's not a bug, it's simply not possible to buy through Steam. If you want to buy an item through the Shop, you will need to sign in through a Browser or the Downloadable client. 

There is, however, a special bundle you can buy through Steam listed below, should you wish to buy it — it also offers a special paint.

• Tanki Online – Steam Pack (£25.99)

  100 000 Crystals;

  10 Days of Premium Account;

  10 Gold Boxes;

  A unique Steam premium paint;

  100 of each supply (excluding Gold Boxes)

   

• Tanki Online Downloadable Client (direct link)

You can always report the bug. I am sure, you would like to buy during the 50% sales, so the best option would be to buy through a browser or the client in case your issue does not get fixed in time and you miss an opportunity to grab something at a discount. :)

 has no powers to create new features in Tanki Online (such as a new Pass). The best way to to get your idea heard would be to post them in the Ideas & Suggestions section of the Forum — this way, it will get to the right people.

Thank you, I really appreciate it. In order to become a Helper of the Game, you need to be a certain rank. For now, my rank is simply too low for me to even consider applying. Like I said, I really do appreciate the suggestion though.  :P

The Star Hunt event only lasts for a few days. I would really recommend buying the x2 Star pass as soon as possible so that you are able to start earning double stars if you are willing to pay for it. It can take time to fix these things, so your best option, for now, is to buy through something different (for example a Browser). It will cost the exact same, you needn't worry about price differences. :)

Hey Tabish,

For the "Star Hunt" event, you do not need to buy any special paints. Simply earn Stars within the non-pro (Matchmaking) battles and get them as a reward, depending on the position, score and/or battle result. You can read all about the special Event that will be held during the special Tankers' Day week in the below link:

Oh Hell no. Everyone has either the turret or the protection against the turret. Plus the high caliber alt is already OP, imagine what a buff would do to it.

why give out the world paints from the soccer events ? when there will still be more soccer events happening. seeing your giving them out what will now have to take place is the dev's now have to go back to the drawing boards to create new ones to give out. or are they no longer going to have soccer events like this ??

For now, the paints will remain in containers and symbolize each country. In the future, it's possible a better solution will be added.
