I got 125 Speed x2 and 3500 crystals. Its random with various rarities, thats how it goes. If you don't like it don't open containers.

A couple of months ago, captains could play with legends. And anyway, is your choice to play in that battle, if you get rekt, it's your own fault.

Use the battle list and pick battles where you are one of the top ranks. But yeah, I really don't understand the long rank brackets.

Right now the Rank brackets are not optimal, and before MM rolls out, I will join the suggestions above to choose battles wisely.

 

Remember, everything you relate to the devs I will forward, but justifying something you do not control or design is not my jam.

The problem is that many, including I, basically work hard to earn crystals in battles while some while be getting a lot for an art image regardless of the rank. Economic imbalance.

 

And I don't feel like the contest is for everyone, those who are good with graphics will have better chances by creating a fancy image than those that may have a good idea for a real change to the user interface.

 

I think the rewards should be a lot less, spread among more players. Players should see contests like this as a way to help improve the game with their ideas, like a contribution.

 

I'm not participating, I getting dissatisfied with the game, not only because of this, but many other things.

I have to agree with Issimo, the total prizes are way more than actual in game earnings.

I am a Lieutenant colonel and all the farming of crystals so far, I have yet not managed to reach 300k, so if a player who is less engrossed in the game, and gets crystals worth my current garage value, just because of a contest, all my past 7 months of gameplay will be a joke.

 

I know that many legends will actually be participating and I think this contest is designed for them, as 250k is nothing for a legend.

But it hurts to even think what is a major or captain, or low ranks managed to win, then why play the game, just keep on waiting for such contests, and learn photoshop.

Someone can spend 30 minutes making something,, win, and earn more crystals than a member of the fourth best clan in the EN community in the International Tournament. That, of course, would take at least 6-8 hour long matches, as well as countless hours of training.

 

And this is the largest prize pool we've seen in an eSports competition in quite a while.

 

Edit: not to mention that the art competition can be won by a WO1, but the tournament will be legends only pretty much.

I understand how unfair it might feel, when somebody with an art skill could win a huge prize seemingly quick and with arguably less effort than an eSports clan working together, but don't forget, we make different contests so everyone can apply their skill in their favorite hobby, be it parkour, eSports or Photoshop. Also, eSports and parkour guys are getting a sweet-*ss paint.

 

As prizes were already announced, they won't be changed, but now we will be more considerable for balance in contest rewards.

There could be one way of making the contest work for more people and for Tanki too:

 

- Devs could ask what they would like from the contest, from the designs, so better things could come out of it.

- It could be extended for one month or so, so more people can participate and work on their ideas.

- The judging could focus more on the interface being more intuitive, practical, inviting, and things like that.

- Teams of 2 at least could be allowed, to share reward. For example: I have some ideas, but I'm not good with image editing.

Ninja, I agree its not easy to draw, but if you give me 6 months time to learn photoshop, or get 250K from scratch as recruit I am million percent sure I will learn photoshop, but the latter is next to impossible for an average player.

Would there be any point in contest rewards if they didn't give deserving winners a wallet boost? Not to mention it is highly unlikely that a Recruit would win.

 

Obviously these rewards are far more than what we're used but I don't understand why that isn't a positive.
