We're trying to find the cause of the problem, the game and the site work for most players, but it seems not for everyone.

 

If you experience the issue, most valuable is which version are you playing, what's your OS or browser and a screenshot.

 

Please try to include as many of the details above as you can. Thank you!

I'm playing online Flash version (like the standard one)

Windows 10

I tried Edge, Firefox, and Chrome but they said that they couldn't reach the tankionline.com server IP address.

 

Edit: I tried html5 version as well but the same problems occur.

I actually was JUST playing on HTML5 and it worked how it always normally does, so luckily, I completed my Daily Missions just in time!!!  :P

I expect in the morning we will receive an update on what happened and why only certain players had errors.

The server of Tanki Online is down on a massive number of countries, including Australia, America and some Europe countries. 

Working here, but there are very few battles active and they're almost empty.

Successfully connected to Tanki through a free VPN trial. However, I could only claim the missions to continue my streak and not play games due to the bandwidth restriction through the trial.

DNS entries are gone, so an IP address might work if the game is stable. But using even Google's DNS servers at 8.8.8.8 and 4.4.4.4 don't find tankionline.com

Edit: Even with 37.48.68.15     tankionline.com in the hosts file, I still get the maintenance page when the game tries to load.

 

Using Google Chrome as the client.

I think there should be an announcement about this.

 

Is it working in Russia?

 

Please consider pausing the mission chains, I'll not try VPNs for security reasons because I don't know which ones are safe to use.

It worked with Puffin for me when I changed the link from EN to RU, from tankionline.com/battle-en.html to tankionline.com/battle-ru.html

 

EDIT: Looks like that was a coincidence, because sometimes just refreshing or trying a few times work.

Though in the beginning it says it costs money, scroll down to "Which version is best for you?" (where it shows information about the free version) and past that a little bit should be the links for download.

Opera has a VPN:

 

- Go to settings - Privacy and security - Enable VPN

 

It's loading for me...

 

PS: Remember to disable VPN afterwards if your are concerned about Privacy from Opera, I haven't read their privacy policy.

if this causes me to not be able to get a mission for today (btw I'm on week 4) I'm gonna be soooo pissed and probably never play tanki again

 

they should give everyone a reward of like 5-20 containers for this HUGE inconvinience
