That's because the points table is for overall scores. You did not come first this week, but since the points were added to your total score, you're still first overall.

Well, looking at the order of the names, one could be forgiven for saying that I was first.

Just looking at the list, I also assumed that they were posted in order of placement. I'm glad to hear that Magenta's offering isn't in first place. No offense, but it didn't meet the criteria of the challenge. Regardless of how well-written or entertaining it was, ranking it above anyone who actually followed the rules would be unfair.

I'm new to the forum, so the people and personalities are new to me as well. I still giggled, imagining the scene as it played out, seeing familiar roles that my friends and I have. I feel like I learned as much about people here from that short story as I would in a year of active posting!

There is no Week 5. Do you mean Week 4?

If you mean week 4, then it was only a week, the results are now out - I'll message Twee to update that.

 

If you mean week 5, there won't be one. This time round, the tournament is only four weeks. If we decide to run another tournament, it may well be longer - we will decide when the time comes ;)

Congratulations to us all!  Week 4 made for some fun reading!  I literally laughed out loud at both The Princess Fried and the unnamed LOTR parody.

Most likely, the table will almost certainly not be updated until the next "Best of AWC" is published with the next newspaper.

 

 

 

That is of course no guarentee, it took me about 3 weeks of persistently messaging Twee before he added mine from the last contest :x
