Should Finish #1 missions be changed to Finish in top 2?

Note that in the Ideas and suggestions section no one actually reads the stuff because daily missions is a merged topic. 

 

I've had this Finish 1st mission for around a month now and I can't complete it. Why? Because I finish second. All the time by like one kill. And of course with the unified battle list the anti-drugger server is hard to find. Yes, I drug too when I'm desperate but I still can't complete it. This is actually a pretty difficult mission to do. Just change to Finish in 1st or 2nd place is what I think is good enough. 

 

Now yes I can change missions but that's a moderator type of excuse. 

 

And the score difference has to be very close to 1st place. 

 

 

So basically I'm wondering if many of you have also been struggling with Finish 1st  place missions.

it could be changed only if you're in a dm to make it fair; but if you're in any other game mode then you'd have to be first on your team;

As far as I know, that's the plan. Hazel said in a stream that the mission is likely to change into "top 3 places" rather than just 1st place. Not sure if that plan has changed though.

For me it isn't tough to complete. I didn't have any problem with finish 1st x3 either.

I'm not a big buyer & drugger, but whenever I play in random battles I use drugs as much as possible. And I have M4s too, so I always finish at good place. 

 

And on low rank it's far more easy....

If you don't have drugs, simply don't play in drug battles.

Complete easy missions without drugging. It will take more time, but not impossible. 

And save drugs for tough missions like Finish 1st and capture flags.

It would be so much easier if they made it top 3, Finish first takes so much time sometimes, if you can't find right battle where you can finish it.

What about finish last place? Should be extremely fair  :rolleyes:

I just keep joining losing teams or shorthanded teams until I get 1st place. For those who are druggers and don't mind spending the supplies and crystals, even though it's logistic suicide, then drug like heck, use OD and drug inbetween. Once your mission is complete, then you can go back to normal play. OR just change it. Complete the other two missions and collect, then use you one free change. If 1st in battle is the only mission that bothers you, then it doesn't matter what the alternative mission is.

I jave many fieldmarshal friends who dont have m4s or a lot of drugs but finish 1st in legend battles every day. I could just dig up all the screenshots from my clan chat... as obvious as it is, this mission is only a problem for noobs, the noober they are the harder it is. andits pretty simple, if you dont play well enough you dont deserve the rewards for that mission.

well they don't have a lot of drugs but they do drug sometimes, finishing 2nd is pretty hard for someone who doesn't drug at all. I'm sure you could finish first easily if you dugged like everyone else.

Well, I can get 2nd if I don’t drug. The main reason why I ask for this is many times I finish 2nd by one kill or 10 points and it is irritating.

Hmm, think 1st place missions could be combo u see specific? 

 

I find ways to get 1st easily enough I must say... but I use isida sometimes. 

 

So like an isida viking combo sometimes in ctf or cp, I find often I can get first place with super heavy healing with single digit kills. 

 

When ediquette is observed, sometimes I get someone to give me the flag so i can score helping my score out all the more. 

 

In dms, twins is my favourite but protection is often to strong against it. Vulcan is getting me first place in dms with titan, and again isida viking is really strong in dm on right map.

 

But like, what about firebirds, smokies, strikers getting first place. I don't know those turrets as well. Same with freeze, etc.

 

Some I can imagine doing well, but maybe some combos have harder times? So maybe we are talking past each other. 

 

A smoky mammoth might have harder time then viking twins in a tom game.

well actually he has m4 thunder, but he hasn't used it since general. his viking, twins and protection aren't m4 I'm sure, i play with him all the time. he's also very very young and his paren't don't even allow him to spend money on online games so he can't spend that much.  I found about 4 more of his screenshots, you want them? :D

just checked, 36k used. but i know how he's used so much, everytime he buys a bundle or gets his chain reward he goes to play noise blue team without cool downs because that's his favourite map, game mode and team. he always uses almost all he has whenever he gets a lot. you can see how much he has in the first screen shot.

 

aaaand, i didn't say he finishes first in ALL legend battles, i just said he does so every day. not every battle lol

Lol or course he’s m4. Stop being skeptical and just assume he did drugs and has m4. That’s the only way. Even a drugging m3 can’t finish against a m4 somewhat drugging. At this point his twins is probably m4 too.

Skill with twins more powerful than drugs and mus? I don't think so. I use twins myself and there's not much skill with the turret that's good enough to beat drugs.

 

I'm pretty sure that that player's first place score was a lucky. There's no way he gets those scores every day without any of the good stuff.

there's not much skill required for twins in actual fighting but you'd still have to master tactical movement. if you move around unpredictably such that you always attack anyone when they're not prepared, and the continue to move around randomly so it's impossible for them to know where you are after they respawn then you'll be able to get a lot of flags. it's not lucky, as i said i found a few more screenshots... and there'll probably be some on the haloween map, if i see them i'll post them so you know it happens very often; they can't be battles that happened long ago if they're on the haloween map.

next time you see someone tearing everyone else apart don't just think"another noob buyer drugger" and rage quit. make sure you see him druging and make sure you see his MUs before drawing conclusions.

Possibly but I’m still doubting it. I mean your second post was aimed at me but you must know that I am not possibly that incompetent. I press “r” almost all the time and I know when I’ve been defeated by a drugger. If he/she sctually drugs.

i just confirmed, his twins is only 12/20. but it could become 19/20 after the MU sale, because he's still deciding between spending all he has on MUing his twins or MUing his viking or spending haln viking and the other half on twins. no matter what he decides it's gonna be even harder for legends to finish first afterwards
