Using supplies slows down Overdrive charge

from what i heard OverDrive Feature was introduced to help non-druggers

 

but the druggers get xp faster than the non-druggers therefore i think it's helping the druggers more than the non-druggers.

 

my suggestion is when u use a drug for example double damage u lose 2% of the OverDrive Bar.

 

and if u used Repair u will lose 5% of the OverDrive Bar.

 

**the percentage can be set by the Developers**

Interesting idea, but highly unlikely. Developers don't want to discourage use of supplies and they don't want to punish players for using them. Instead, they are trying to make it so that supplies don't cause disbalance and don't give "buyers" a massive advantage. Hence why we have the 3x mission chain rewards and why supplies got nerfed recently.

 

So while your idea would definitely help make Overdrive more fair to "non-druggers", it's not the best option in terms of gameplay.

 

P.S.

I changed the 25% to 2% and 50% to 5%. That way the idea doesn't seem so ridiculous ?

Oh Gosh !! 

He said 25% for DA and 50% for RK xd. Btw 2% also doesn't suit, it should be 5% for DA and 10% for RK.

Overall, it's a good idea. :)

Considering how many supplies players use already, I think that even 2% is too much. I use every supply at least once per life, and live for 30-60 seconds, so with 4 supplies + RK, that's already up to -25% per minute. At that rate hardcore druggers may not get an overdrive at all!

Don't forget that soon overdrive won't be just supplies. And no matter how many supplies you use, an ability like module ignore, energy shield, bomb, etc. would be extremely useful.

how about, if the bar is full, u won't lose anything when drugging, because it's already full
