It was asked twice and now I'm asking a third time. What's so gol dang important about total post counts? Why are so many players upset about this update? 

 

If most of them are made in the Forum Games, they mean nothing, only that the person plays a lot of dumb Forum Games. It doesn't mean that person has been helpful to the Community, made any useful contributions, or answered a Newbie's questions. It only means he/she knows how to count forwards, backwards, knows the alphabet and is capable taking wild guesses at what the person below has or doesn't have. 

 

Some of the Forum Games have some creativity behind them, forethought, and some even jiggles the brain a bit...makes you think!! YIKES!!! Think!?!

What is wrong with seeing the real numbers? Whether people post in forum games or not?

 

If you don't like that someone has a high number of posts then you have a problem with yourself,

 

If you don't want people to see you as a no lifer because of the amount of posts then you should stop doing forum games.

 

It is simple, the real numbers is part of reality, learn from it and deal with it.

Actually, this idea would be very useful to stop some spammers, who do this for posts, but nothing can stop pros like Adriel, personia, TSY, and me  B)

Possible, considering the most posts will probably go back to FBI/Maf once Forum Game posts have been deducted from everyones posts. Blue dragon will probably lose around 8k, I will certainly loose at least 4k. Rip 10k special  :ph34r:

The only downside of this change is that it will encourage spamming in other, useful threads - but that can be controlled anyways.

We also don't play forum games. Coz we spam the whole forum, spamming in forum games section isn't fun.

The thing is, you staff promote the spam and counting on forum games. I originally joined the forum because of a topic on forum games section called survive the above users attack. Now I see counting games everywhere on the top of the forum list. 2 counting games are even pinned by you guys!!! If there were quality topics like the story ones and the survive the above users attack pinned, then maybe it would be different and better. I put thought into those games. But you guys promote the counting games. If they were to be hidden, first, half of the topics would disappear, second, players would not spam.

If you change it, I may occasionally poke my head into the forum, but I have more important things to do.
