Here are my experiences: 

 

2009: *didn't start playing yet*

2010: (late) so many free accounts were given away (my tanki life of a struggling low acc)

2011: (early) *can literally find a hacker 50% of the battles you join*

2012: (late) Rebalance

2013: *wasn't around

2014: *wasn't around*

2015: (early) troll montages uprising, (mid) *people complain on discounts being less than 50%*

2016: (early) tbh, at this point it is more easier to spot a buyer than before, (mid) sudden increase of tanki youtubers, (late) Global rebalance

2017: (mid) "how would you rate this update, 2/10" (mid) health kit nerf, (late) up to this point, any major update is somewhat considered bad

2013 : Great sales , Friendly community , regular new players , good updates and the start of MUs (Players didn't MU alot tho due to all of the different Mus and it was overpriced

 

2014 : Mainly the death of all good updates 

 

2015 : No more 50% sales (Mus became better but still overpriced)

 

2016 : Players start to leave , barely any new players , youtubers starting to quit , parkour is harder than it use to be. Unless your in space you can barely do 2 man parkour. 

 

2017 : Tanki releases updates which the community hate, less players , they ENCOURAGE(emphasize this) YOU TO BUY kits , crystals , premium and even rare paints. (MUs were BUFFED ALOT) (Buyers can easially rank up quickly with early m2s,m3s and m4s
