at least all of my russian friends are able to play. at the rate they're getting gold boxes from missions(30+ every day) they're gonna get ~200 each when this is over. they are going to use them to celebrate the day when i'm finally able to play again.

Had lots of fun today! Lit bit of lag, but that's Tanki for you! Caught 2 golds on my other account, tere4 and started (but unfortunately not finished) my Halloween missions on a few accounts! Great fun with 10x golds! Don't know what all the fuss is about.

So they've removed non-pro missions from the battle list until 6 November. Does this smell to you like the old Matchmaker system all over again? What's the odds on the non-pro battles coming back at all?

 

I hope you all bought half-price Vikings and Twins/Ricochets, because you're going to need them from now on to complete your missions. That Hornet/Shaft or Isida/Wasp is worthless now.

You'd be surprised how many use Hornet Shaft.  I'm pretty mean with Wasp/Shaft (on another account), but have to choose the map wisely. That pleasure is now gone.

Unable to catch any golds today (Dictators everywhere) but at least I've farmed up lots and lots of crystals. Triple fund has literally saved my day.

My day is over - it was good - caught lots of golds and finally found a good fit for me on Halloween map - Hammer. Looking forward to more play in the coming days, without the insanity of the gold box hunters today.

You can have another Halloween mission after already completing one. It is even possible to get 3 in one day, by only completing one mission, then claiming it, then changing one of your remaining missions till it's a special mission and so on. You'll obviously have to put in triple the work also if you do it like that.

As a matter of fact, non-PRO battles aren't removed, they're just not visible anymore in the battle list. You should be able to join them by pressing the Battle! button:

Mine wants 520 points to change.  Do that enough times to get the mission to roll round again and it's cost you more to change than the prize is worth.

yes you can still do your missions by selecting the appropriate type of battle. (CP, CTF, DM, TDM) unfortunately you cannot select the battle you want to join and you will be dumped in a random battle with higher ranks camping at the the spawn point so you can get destroyed instantly. I am sure you will like that because the INCOMPETENT Tanki programmers said so! Welcome to the forced Matchmaking system that some ***** concocted because he had nothing better to do but screw up the game!  These must be the most incompetent programmers that I have ever encountered in my 30 years of managing professional IT developers! Of course running one server out of your garage it will create severe lag for the atrocity they have created and instead of taking the buttons that dump you in a random battle that you do not want, the take away the battle list! Because displaying the full list taxes the server resources to the max and the matchmaking code that the kiddie programmers wrote does not! Go figure!

So why don't you mention that we do not have a choice which battle to join and instead we are dumped on a random battle? And while you are at it why do not mention that this is a forced matchmaking? If it is such a problem to DISPLAY all the battles, why don't you just create 2 lists? (1 for pro and 1 for non pro?) What it takes a lot of effort? yeah about 5 - 10 lines of code which I am sure the Russian kiddie programmers will find a way to screw it up like they usually do!
