So they've removed non-pro missions from the battle list until 6 November. Does this smell to you like the old Matchmaker system all over again? What's the odds on the non-pro battles coming back at all?

 

I hope you all bought half-price Vikings and Twins/Ricochets, because you're going to need them from now on to complete your missions. That Hornet/Shaft or Isida/Wasp is worthless now.

This is definitely another forced test for the matchmaking system.  Anything else is just an excuse! The funny thing is that the kiddie developers at Tanki are in denial that they are killing the game with all these forced changes.  I remember back then when on a holiday such as tankers' day and haloween there were over 70,000 players and no lag! Then Hazel Rah declared himself a genius developer and started making these atrocious changes! So we got, lag, and more lag, matchmaking that no one wants, you are forced into whatever battle Hazel Rah thinks you should be playing, and now we have only 30,000 players at the peak of the holiday! And guess what? With half the players than before, the game still suffers from lag and "connection was closed" messages with only half the players! Now that is progress in Russian!  Oh, and watch the funny vlog with the Russian who pretends to be a developer trying to explain why the maps will have a max of only 10 players! Very enlightening! Especially when he says that "we think it is the optimum amount of players for a balanced battle!"

This is becoming a great joke! I just hope that not too many people have spent their parents money on this crappy game when you buy a product and then all of a sudden the parameters change and make it worthless!

I just caught 23 golds...for past 3 hours in the morning I was been kicked out of battles....and I was really mad at that time and today I just played only 2 hours out of 24 hours :( :(_

So they will reduce and change large maps to make them 10 players max?   What a terrible idea- is this change confirmed?

I like maps like Esplanade or Brest because of the larger amount of players. It's indeed a terrible idea, in the long list of their terrible ideas.

Guess I won't be playing until after the 6th.  Total pain in the butt not to be able to chose what battle I can join without spending cash.  Tired of getting randomly put into a battle and being the lowest ranking tank.  Getting killed off four times in less than 2 minutes while spawning is total BS.

at least all of my russian friends are able to play. at the rate they're getting gold boxes from missions(30+ every day) they're gonna get ~200 each when this is over. they are going to use them to celebrate the day when i'm finally able to play again.

i just hope that day comes eventually

Most are just druggers, i.e. how fast you can press 12345. What is the point of play?

I can't compete against M4 equipment; 7 and 8 ranks higher than me.  Three complete battles and I still don't have my 250xp daily mission complete.  Not that KD really matters, but today has been like 5 or 6 deaths to each kill. I am a decent player, but how can I win against drug crazed M4 equipment?  You shoot the crap out of someone then they hit repair...then some Magnum blows both of you to pixel dust.  You get killed more than half of the time as soon as you re-spawn...not even enough time to get a single shot in much less aim....spawn, die, spawn, die, spawn, die.  I bet I never lasted more than three seconds...maybe even two seconds.  Gold boxes...IMPOSSIBLE with so many higher ranked players.

 

Welcome to MatchMaking...it's the end of Tanki for me if the official MM is even remotely like this.  I think very few players want to be nothing but cannon fodder.  Man,some Haloween celebration...

 

Let us do missions in Pro Battles if your servers can't take the load....not this stupid NO CHOICE, click a button for some random battle junk.

I would rather they never brought it back.  Days like this bring out the jerks in full force.  Countless teammates pushing you to get pickups (not GB regular one) and even pushing you off ledges so they have a clearer shot.  All for some STUPID gold box - a handful of Crystals.

I can't believe that playing a computer game actually made me cry but the frustration in trying to finish a stupid 2 flag mission has stressed me out, made me angry, and pretty much wrecked my morning.  Tanki is not even close to fun like this.  

 

If it weren't for trying to keep up with the daily mission chain, I wouldn't play for a few weeks after this nightmare.  If this is anything like Matchmaking, I quit for sure.  Why would anyone want this grief?

 

I got a 3000xp Halloween mission and knew I couldn't finish so I changed it.  Then a 1st place, then this 2 flag thing. If I could have picked my battle I could have eventually completed it, but as it is now, I got 1 flag after two hours of getting killed and I quit.  Great Halloween celebration Tanki, please cancel Christmas.

Keeps putting me in battles that are close to half finished and on the losing side (since winners hardly leave an unfinished battle).

I finally got the 2 damn flags.  This version of Match Making sucks big time, and I don't see that the official Match Making will be any better.  With the official Match Making we will get to add long waits to join battles on top of this crap we have today.

This could be a great update! Because it affects everyone. I hope they keep it.

If you break your mission chains, that means many other will also break their chains, so everything is even. 

 

The great thing about it is that we have a great chance to stop playing everyday just to keep a chain. We can do better things instead.

 

And since I think they are not gonna shorten the ranks brackets... this is like a plan for me. Chain free.

Seriously, you shouldn't be getting this worked up about a game. Take a break if that happens, after all, you play the game for fun not frustration.

No, this will not be like matchmaker, because when MM comes out there will still be a battle list to choose from, where you will be able to create custom battles for free. Although I suppose since you are really focused on missions, you won't like it, because the catch is that missions won't be able to be completed in custom battles.

I no longer to do finish first missions, capture flag missions, and any missions that involve gaining more than 1000xp, because non-pro battles just get me frustrated.

 

I'm just doing one mission a day, till the triple chains last, and then I will take a break from tanki when they end.

I might come back from time to time to play pro battles, but only if pro pass becomes free.

 

This game has steadily gone downhill in the past 1 year.

The positive impact of a few updates has been far outweighed by the negative impact impact of other updates.

So this is what Matchmaking will be.  This is terrible since you can't pick your battle or even choose your map.  I guess we got Tricked for Halloween instead of Treated.
