Add V-sync option

Disabling Vsync will essentially remove the sync between the FPS rendered by Graphics card and Monitor refresh rate. So, it's basically a lag vs. Screen tearing argument. While most 3-D games do give this option to players to allow them to adjust according to their systems, Tanki doesn't really require it. Tanki isn't really GPU demanding and hence it can easily render at standard screen refresh rates. Also, most people have a 60 Hz monitor and Tanki doesn't really render much higher FPS than that. What Tanki needs has already been added in settings: Adaptive FPS. It allows you to avoid control delays if you are not struggling with low FPS.

Well the idea was so Tanki had a native V-sync option to use, rather than an option to turn it off. For example, even though I can easily run TO at 60 FPS and likewise my monitor refresh rate is also 60 FPS, I still get significant screen tearing. Perhaps this would be better to post in bugs and glitches though.

Alright, I have to admit that I'm not an expert on V-sync and the answer above was made by beaku, so I'll just put your idea under review, unless someone with more knowledge of this subject will be able to explain the flaws in your idea (if any).

HTML5 now uses the graphics card to its full potential

Wrong, the GPU utilization is almost non-existent also the camera movement isn't smooth if you use a 1440p or higher resolution monitor.

Correct, HTML5 does use less GPU resources than Flash.

My GPU overloads to 99% when I play HTML5. I don't think it's a good thing, but it does appear to use the GPU a LOT ?

Hmm, that is certainly strange for HTML5. I think they need to optimise it more but idk.
