Invalid Remove badges from gifts

          Please remove badges from gifts. They are cheap and everyone using them to send communication messages, not gifts, which is quite wrong. Most of these messages are not important, scam, spam, offenses, etc. Let the gifts be gifts and let them more expensive starting at least 2k and just cut these non sense useless and annoying badges. I know what I'm saying. I have + 800 at my garage (+ many others I deleted) and most of them are useless. Have in-game email system or just let players use forum pms, since badges characters are even limited (meaning they cannot be even used for a proper communication). I doubt these badges are even a profit for tanki since they are so cheap and they do take hosting space.

Can't say I agree with this. In fact, it almost certainly won't be done. Most players love badges for exactly what you described - they are a fairly convenient way to communicate with friends and send messages to those, who are offline. In fact, a lot of players are even asking for a new gift that would be even cheaper, so that we could send messages practically for free.

 

So I think you're one of the only people who are popular enough to get a lot of these gifts and find them annoying. I think a much better option would be to, for example, disable gifts from anyone not on the friends list (or something like that).

 

Some other solutions for it:

 

• Disabling/enabling gift would be a much better option than removing ones under 2k crystals. - @lukey0
• Make an option in your setting to refuse (or ignore) any gift below a specific cost. If you have the option to refuse non friend Chat message then you should have the same with gift.  - @Viking4s

Well, that's a different idea that has been suggested before. For some reason developers haven't done it yet. But until it's done, there's nothing players can do other than use badges for communication.

I would like to point out that not everyone is same and some prefer to save their crystals and not waste them on useless things such as gifts, I say useless because to me personally they are unless it is from someone you really know or get along with.

 

Anyway , back on topic, a good solution to this problem would that if players had the option to disable receiving some ''specific'' gifts from anyone. Let me tell you what I mean, in your case, you don't seem to be a big fan of those badge gifts right? Well simply anyone has the option to disable specific gifts in their garage and you just disable the badge one so if any other player tries to send you a badge gift, it will say something like ''Player disabled receiving the badge gift'' and so no one will be able to send them to you but removing them? I bet that is gonna happen, this way you won't suffer or even no longer see them and for those poor players, they will still be able to use the badge gift as it is the cheapest one of them all.

you probably look while there was a discount. if it was 2 months ago then it was probably because of the 40% off discount for tankers day.

Wow. This is one non-issue non-problem that needs no solution. Gifts "shouldn't" be used to send messages. Because ,the word gift is used.

I sometimes have to say something to my friend in a hurry, but he/she is offline, and i just send a badge. Most ppl dont even visit forum to have PMs. As Maf said, rather give option to filter gifts instead of removing badges

I agree with these 2 but I disagree with the idea of removing Badge

Badge - way to communicate without both people on.

The one badge I have is from my Tanki GF and it is really a gift of sorts. It is like a birthday card.

Since gifts will no longer be possible to send to random players (only to friends) after this update, the idea is no longer applicable. Although the issue you're describing basically got fixed without having to remove a convenient communication tool :)
