Wow, this may be the first MoP entry I have watched, but those stunts were very creative it took my words out of my mouth.

They were creative but the thing was.. they didn't create those tricks XD

This is the straw that broke the camels back!...Let me just make some points here on how unfair and unjust the judges and tanki are being in this contest and how i want some legitimate answers. I am the leader of Fight and Flight and also in the team which was "disqualified"

and in my opinion better then most other entrees. The reason behind my team getting disqualified was because of breaking the rules which could be anything listed with having clean karma.

 

What I want to know is how innocent karma free players suffer from another team members karma within a game without knowing they have a clean karma ahead of time. In other words our team failed before we even started to record for mop and this is a fair decision? Is this really fair to other players within a team? And if that is the case then why doesn't tanki have a list of the players which are not eligible to participate due to karma so others in the team do not suffer from this decision without knowing?

 

I also have questions regarding other winners within this contest. If my team was disqualified for karma reasoning then why do I see more then half the winning teams listed above with certain players breaking the same rules within the game? If you make a decision for one team, shouldn't this not effect all other teams? If it is due to our team being reported then where is the report? And if there is a report then I challenge and would like to report all other winning teams so everyone is treated equally with the same restrictions as I know for a fact others within the winning teams have broken the rules as well, so they should be held to the same standard.

 

In addition to what I have listed above I want to know why certain rules for the mop contest were written "All team members names must be visible and yet Nikk and other judges mysteriously bend and change the rules after the contest is over stating that now people not showing in a video is accepted? Shouldn't the rules remain consistent with the original announcement? Another example of this is having a Russian team win in the EN/DE mop section which is a little strange given Russians receive more constellation prizes then all other community's combined?...Why are all the rules being changed and seems like my team is being singled out and being treated unfairly.

 

In addition to this for future mop contests I really want to know how an innocent player for future contests can or may know he has failed before even entering a contest given he has no clue of what someone may have done from your team his past or presence? What precautions should a karma free player take so he knows he was disqualified unfairly when he did and has done everything by the books to follow tankis rules and regulations? I really want all other winning teams to be reviewed for similar karma!

Judging was done in a fair way, their video did not win for another reason tho.

 

When I judge, I do not take into consideration who I hate and who I like. Also, I was only one of the 4 judges, so my opinion only meant 25% of the final score. Your entry was just not good enough to win, that's it.

Another thing. I think you are getting me wrong. Many people copied but the thing is Oye's team was in top 10 too.

And clearly they submitted their entry on 22nd, even before you created your team.

 

I'm only pointing out the fact that it's hard to select another team who is doing the same exact trick when they have already selected one in Top 10 (Oye's team I mean).

It was just the luck. If Oye's team had submitted in Russian, you were surely a wining team.

Your team's edit was soothing with light music and great parkour. The video was really nice :D

 

I'm just giving you my side of explaining of what must have happened. 

I'm not saying anything is right or wrong, I'm just pointing few facts that I think might have played role in why your team was not there.

It would not be fair from us to tell the reason publicly, so I will not do so, but your team got disqualified due to big violations of the game rules. Then comparing how many winners the RU community might have compared to us is very very pointless, since they had a lot more entries, so they deserve more winners as well. And saying that Russian players should not be allowed is again something I disagree with. We can not know for sure what community tankers come from, so we can not just assume and disqualify someone as we "think" he could be Russian. Your disqualification has nothing to do with karma at all, neither are the players that broke those rule innocent. If you want me to explain you in more detail, feel free to PM me.

It's obvious that this might encourage someone to not show the member in 2 tricks and then say, "It was only 1 extra trick"

but thats not the main reason, I mean if they say 1 such trick where name of 1 player is not there is allowed, this will led to one thing for sure.

Most of the teams will be careless and by mistake they will repeat this mistake in more tricks.

It was one of the main reason that during my edit I showed each and every member in every parkour. Few times I did unnecessary cuts or edit unnecessary part just to show that. For ex the first trick in colonge, I did a cut to show the hammer who shot the wasp.

In polygon trick I started the video bit before to show the railgun. In skylark trick, during the revelation I showed magnums and in the skyscrapper trick I kept it long so the striker nick is visible.

And like he said, it's not possible to know if a guy is from EN or RU. I mean the developers can do a IP check but it doesn't guarantee the nationality.

Stated above. I think it's pretty obvious to all of us which one we're talking about considering everyone is pointing this out.

They should be penalised for their carelessness, it was a rule for all nicknames to be shown clearly in the video, it's the team's own fault if they failed to abide by this very important rule. People who actually care enough to follow each and every rule along with producing a great video deserve to win. Some of the winning teams' parkour tricks aren't even new let alone they don't even follow the original rules.
