Increase time allowed to rejoin after losing connection

Fellow Tankers

We don't have the best of the internet connections. So if disconnected, I would lose all the kills and crystals in the game. Nothing is more annoying than this unfortunate thing to happen. Please give at least 4 minutes to re-enter the game. After the new update of Uni servers, I will be kicked out in less than 60 seconds, if disconnected. It happend many times. Sad.

Please make this happen.

With standard battles lasting just 15 minutes, 4 minutes is nearly a third of the whole battle. Allowing a player to be inactive for that amount of time puts the whole team at a significant disadvantage. Sure, this might be good for you, but what about those around you?

how about keep the ratio of pause time to battle time as 2:15 and the pt to flag limit as 1:5 and pt to points in cp or kills in tdm as 1:50. use the lower ratio if the battle is both score and time limited. because the longer the battle the more important it is.

Rejoin time should be 3 minutes, but someone should take your place, and if you return you'll have to wait for an opening to retake your place or wait until the end to take your rewards.

 

Pause should be 3 minutes too, and after 1 minute and 30 seconds have passed in pause someone should take your place and you be put in hold.

Actually, some time ago devs said that they will add ability to leave a battle and retain your score, so that you can come back at any time and continue where you left off (provided that you can get a spot before the battle ends). Not sure what happened to that promise though.

When I first started playing Tanki, it said you could put the battle on pause, eat lunch and when you come back, your tank will be waiting for you. (Or something to that effect). I couldn't see how anyone could eat in 3 minutes, unless you ran to the kitchen, slapped together a PB&J and ate it while battling. Now, you don't have time to run to the bathroom.

i agree with this idea, i lost my funds several times due to poor internet connection during the celebrations especially, so yeah i agree 100%+++

tbh, they should remove pause time completly, some players pause and wait for golds and let us all suffer in CP mode, so pause time should be removed during playing, if anyone need to go to the bathroom, just don't play long battles and stick to 15 min battles.

It would certainly prevent some very embarrassing moments. Some time, when your brain isn't busy predicting, lookup "IBS" on a medical website. Since you're so good at predictions, please tell me. I have a meeting to go to tonight. It will take me 30 minutes to get there, but I'll leave 10 minutes earlier to allow for traffic. Will Mother Nature call me 8 minutes after I leave the house? If so, I'll wait the extra 8 minutes. 

 

BTW, all I play is 15 minute battles.

i forgot that this game is played by kids can't even hold theire "Mother Nature Call".

 

i work for 8 hours straight, 6 days a week, calling me or not, i can't go to the bathroom, so i just hold that until i go home.

 

when you grow older, you will learn to hold it for hours not just minutes, because life isn't a game where you just "pause" from your duty.

 

nevermind, i take my suggestion back, forget that tanki is played by people just give up theire diapers like 3 years ago or something, my bad.

Dear Fellow Tanker

Ok that is acceptable. But don't we have the tech to identify the players from, who are paused and who lost server connection!!!! OR At least give more time to the players, who are in the top with more battle funds and kills. Nothing is more frustrating than losing the battle funds, crystals, and the top position in the game.  Hope, you understand what I mean.

I don't see this happening soon because the Deves seem to be aiming towards mainly playing 15min battles for the majority of players. This would only prove valuable in long Pro battles 200min+.

Yeah maybe that idea was scrapped, but perhaps they will add it specifically for PRO battles.

 

 

At least give more time to the players, who are in the top with more battle funds and kills.

This is actually a good idea. You should add it to the first post.
