DM 75 kills, 5 rep kits, countless Double Damage and a few DA...and 1 minute

In a DM match, I was #1 by far with 75 kills...#2 was only 22 or 23.  I was going to get almost the entire battle fund...a real crystal coup.  I was playing in Halloween mode and drugging like cRaZY...hitting those 3s and 2s asap with a 1 whenever I was about to die...I think I only lost 3 maybe 4 times.  I probably spent the equivalent of 1200 to 1500 crystals on drugs...and the battle fund would have justified it.  I was playing like a big buyer.

 

The game lag stopped and the screen went dark...you know, spinning turrets then the zip screen.  I refreshed and logged back in as soon as I could and the battle was still going, but I was not in it....gone....zip...tootles loser.  I joined for the last minute anyway to whine in chat.

 

It is so frustrating to have stuff like this happen...it happens so frequently.  I'm sure it happens to all of us, but it seems like there should be some way to combat these sorts of problems...some sort of fail-safe that retains your score or something if you are inadvertently disconnected when the server crashes.

 

Got any horror stories of your own?  Crashes at the wrong time...lag mishaps...any sort of trauma from system malfunction?

Yep. During an official STG a critical error occurred, and when I refreshed I had been kicked from the battle. :(

This the is reason I am not playing long battle since last 2-3 weeks you refreshed and boom very thigh gone. I register complain but no help it's a big issue but Devs are in no mode to fix this anytime soon.

I remember the devs said they would fix the "kicked from battle" scenario ages ago. And by "ages" I mean way back in 2015. They said they would change it so that if you get kicked for whatever reason, you would still be able to re-enter and not lose all your crystals/progress.

I forgot, just before this last rage inducing battle, in the previous battle, I could see the gold box centered on me...dead center of my tank and on the ground, but lag wouldn't let me actually pick it up...grrrrrrrrr

 

I'm terrible at gold boxes so it wasn't as bad as spending all those drugs for NOTHING in this latest &%&%^!@ DM battle.

In Brest, there was a little more than a minute left in battle and one more flag would have broken a tie. Four of us went in to grab the enemy flag. We were under heavy fire. Three teammates grabbed the flag and were killed while going out the door. I was the only survivor and one hit from being killed. I grabbed the flag and made a flying leap down into the valley below. I landed on top of a RK but couldn't pick it up. I was killed and the battle ended with a tie.

The thing is your not even in drug-hell yet. When you rank up to field marshal your done for unless you have drugs. Every battle has M4s and druggers

 

Its so hard to even complete missions

Your mistake was refreshing, if there is less than 2 minutes left, stay in the battle and you should still or at least have a good chance of receiving your reward.

 

For some reason refreshing kicks you from battles now, stupid and should be fixed ASAP.

During this Halloween, I've missed 12 (twelve) gold boxes - the screen froze just when I got close to the boxes. Ping and FPS were normal, this never happened before this celebration.

Flawless WO1 attempt for record - meaning no deaths. Was missing just one rank, screen froze, I died and had to start again.

 

But getting close again!

You are right, I should have just let it alone and the system would have thought I was just on a 2 minute break...habit without thought.  You have a very goo tip here, I will try to remember it next time instead of blind panic. :)

Annnnnnnd Everyone's turrets started spinning. I rejoined to see that I was kicked out too. I couldv'e gotten about 17k in that battle.I remember I broke something (a mug or something) as I was soooo angry.

Yes as the battle will put you in pause mode. He meant that whatever the time, of you get kicked (or leave) the battle, and rejoin, your score will be there and if you stay till the end, you get crystals from the battle fund :)

Quite often, when the battle ends, I'm booted from battle before I'm given the choice of staying or leaving. I get the black screen without any messages. When I refresh, I'm in the lobby. So, I don't know how many crystals I made (unless I happen to notice before going into battle), what my position was, nor do I know my score.

i will keep the secret refresh trick for myself  :ph34r:

whenever i have horror i can do one of these

1) if there is less than 30 seconds left stay because i am still present at battle

2) use the tricc

Happened to me during a 2 hour Poly CP game. By the time I got back in the game my spot had been taken. Thousands of crystals just gone.

 

Buyer right here. And a message to Tanki. Stabilize your game, right now, before you implement a single additional ‘feature’ update. No more money from me until this mess is over with.
