Of course it's Magnum, what else could it be?

Horrendously irritating and it is used in a very noobish way at the moment. I hope the Developers sort it out.

Smoky is my least favorite turret, I HATE IT

Everyone is complaining about Magnum.

I don't see it as annoying, because you have to blame the maps, not the turret.

If you are on the blue team on the map, Noise, you will be at a major disadvantage because the red team's base is above the blue team base, making it easy for Red Magnums to rain down shells onto the blue base with ease. (Its easier to hit targets below you with Magnum than targets above you)

Seriously, the Devs must change the Noise map, or not allow magnum to be used for a more even gameplay.

they definitely need to change the noise map or not let magnum to be used on this map.I join the blue team and 10 secs later I am out because you get destroyed by 100 magnum shells

screw those noob magnum camper warrant officer 3s 9 year old kids that always ask gold bil and they push you when you are scoping with shaft and they push you to use overdrive and they use their overdrive to themselves and they always self destruct when you are trying to kill them and they never share their overdrive and i think i already said that and they have stupid nicknames and they quit tanki when the get WO4 because they realized that magnum m0 isn't good anymore and after that CaptainPetter is happy because there are no more annoying magnum and camp and do all the above.

Isida turns fast enough to kill freeze. I use isida and freeze get rekt

A lot depends on driving skill of enemy.

Head on - yes Isida has a good chance to be able to turn enough to kill the freeze before it get to flank.

But if freeze is moving at speed and gets to flank it has a good chance to immobilize the isida.  Game over.

Magnums are annoying, especially when they chunk thousands of your health every five seconds or so and you start being dependent on Isidas to survive, unless...

You're the one using Magnum of course! B)

Like, really, it's not that hard to get direct hits with Magnum. You're encouraged  to do so by higher damage on the target rather than the entire three block radius it's on. Make the splash damage like Thunder where it can only hit them if they're grouped together, because every time I end up hitting other people for as much damage as a Smoky shot.

For me:

1. Magnum

2. Shaft

3. A big Fat Drugged Mammoth + Vulcan with +2 Isidas

And what about Railgun at 4th place? I play Brest CTF with Titan Shaft or Hornet Isida and those annoying Railguns always peek from behind the walls and are extremely hard to kill especially when they wait for the right moment when I turn the turret to another direction. Shaft must not move 3 seconds to do full damage, Railgun only charges 1 second after hitting spacebar and it can move while doing this.

Isida ruins battles in small maps such as Sandbox, the team without an Isida is automatically doomed in these situations. But it's somewhat balanced in mediium-sized maps. Nowhere near as annoying as Ricochet though, talk about cringe...

Magnum does not need splatter damage. If the shell lands on ME, yes kill me. But not the 3 other tanks around me. That is too much. I cannot kill 3 tanks at a time with flamer or any other turret why should magnum be different.

Yes you can kill multiple tanks with Firebird, I do it all the time. You can also get multiple kills with Thunder, Railgun Freeze and Hammer.

True, but those turrets take brain cells.

If you want a reason to hate Magnum go play a really long game of CTF on wave. Spawn, move, die by magnum. spawn, don't move,  die by magnum. actually manage to get to the other side of the map ( about 1 in 10 attempts) Magnum splats you as soon as you get over the hill.

Wave has gone from a really good fun map to about the most pointless map on Tanki.

I played against 2 magnums and an isidia for about 20 minutes and made it to the flag once. I will now leave games if Magnum makes it boring.

For me it is Magnum by FAR.  In accomplished hands it is a viable turret and welcome in the game.  In MOST hands it is always getting in the way if it is on your team; it has trouble negotiating any kind of obstacle/terrain.  It is a generalization, but to me, the Mag players seem to be the least cognizant of their surroundings and other players, the least considerate of other teammates, and in general the rudest players overall.  If someone won't let you back up and keeps you in the line of fire, I have noticed, it is almost always a Mag..

The biggest annoyance though is the kamikaze effect.  So many of the Magnum players use it as a one kill one death turret.  It is frustrating to have a Mag that you are gunning down and they run up with one shot that kills themselves and leaves you dead or crippled...usually just crippled.  You take all their damage but don't get credit for the kill even though you really made them die.   Over and over again this happens to me with Magnum, they self-destruct as you are about to kill them.  Other turrets inflice self damage, but nothing even comes close to killing themselves like Magnum.  Once in awhile a Thunder will get too close or hit a wall and blow themsleves up, but you can always tell it is an accident.  With many Mag players it seems to be a strategy.

In the right hands they are too OP at this point need a nerf badly...which I would guess is coming.  Their damage radius is too great.  I see a shell flying over head and it kills ya.  They hit far away and they killl ya.  Magnum has ruined several maps...Silence being one that comes to mind...a Mag or two on the top and it is all over for the team on the bottom.

Overall, I think the introduction of Magnum has hurt the quality of Tanki game play so, for me, Magnum is the clear winner of this poll.

Ya... Just today I was playing a Silence TDM match, and the entire enemy team was composed of magnums.  Of course they had to haev the high ground, and were constantly bombing our team, without us even standing a chance!

++++++ on the magnum nerf!

Cuz Rico requires real skill and when you are good at rico, it becomes the most annoying weapon. Its not the case for other weapons like magnum and twins tho

Perhaps that is true yet I see so many Ricos that don't even know their gun has a bounce mechanic or that their turret can move . . .
