Annoying Turrets - 2017 Poll

I honestly don't get it, why is there a poll? it should be Magnum

Magnum users will of course pick something else.  If they are smart they'd all pick the next closest "annoying" turret so it does not look as bad in comparison.  Close the "gap". ;)

Magnum isn't a problem for me. I can sneak up on them and kill them. Scatter. The twins is a problem because I keep getting killed by them and they pound my Ally health faster than I could heal them

This is your only account or you got others ? Anyway , the rank you are now , is all m0 and people who are not so good yet . Many maps are also not available for you , Aleks prob most used map now , and this map is not the best map for mags . i do not put you down whatsoever , only remember that once the ranks get higher , the weapons and players get better . A mag is a very annoying gun at medium and high rankers . The only advantage i got is that i got a heavy hull ( 1 shot doesnt kill me normally ) , and when theres multiple or OP the map , i take my protection module so i can kill them ( or at least distract them so others can kill them ) . Once you get higher you see different guns show up as being annoying depending on map and rank .

I have one other account, but it is lower level. I hate alexandrofsk. I played a lot of maps and i can see why people are annoyed, but i have no problem with magnum. They are pretty noob.

Freeze has 4, wow, so amazing. Rico has 11? Impressive. Twins has sixteen? Crazy! And Magnum has 52 votes!!! While I can't say I'm surprised, that is sad.

The Magnum problem is getting even worse.  The new mission maps seem to have been optimized for Magnum with all the new barricades for the vermin to hide behind.

 

Magnum designed with maximum irritation in mind...it even looks kinda like, well, you know.

I was torn between freeze, 'cause it's impossible to get away from and Vulcan, 'cause the "ping ping" noise of the rounds hitting me from max range but doing no damage is really annoying.

 

However after a pointless half hour in Wave CTF today I have to jump on the Magnum bandwagon. Two Magnums and an Isidia on the other side. two options, stand still and be killed or move and be killed. Wave is a great map but it's another one that's been Magnum'd.

Magnum problem founded:-

 

If you feel camping.. then first

 

hunt their spot and make sure him not to come there. 

 

He would try to recover his spot by camping on other side. 

 

Try to go near ASAP to him so, he moves away to prevent him self damage. 

 

he would drive backwards try to push him on your base or flip him by pushing over cracks or off the ramp or brides. :) 

 

when gold drops, make sure hunt the magnum onces first. Make sure stay away from crowd if you don't see magnum near drop zone. He is just staying out to harvest you guys.

Also wait until Magnum has taken a shot at someone else, then rush in and kill him while he's waiting for reload.

If you've got Isida, either rush him from the side and pin him to a wall and zap him, or zap him from behind at any time.

Dropping a gold box is just to get the other team to gather together so you can see just how many you can kill with one railgun shot isn't it? I don't see what all the fuss is about. 1000 crystals? I can make that in a couple of battles.

Smoky is my least favorite turret, I HATE IT

 

Everyone is complaining about Magnum.

I don't see it as annoying, because you have to blame the maps, not the turret.

If you are on the blue team on the map, Noise, you will be at a major disadvantage because the red team's base is above the blue team base, making it easy for Red Magnums to rain down shells onto the blue base with ease. (Its easier to hit targets below you with Magnum than targets above you)

 

Seriously, the Devs must change the Noise map, or not allow magnum to be used for a more even gameplay.

Most annoying?

1. Isida - when you're finally about to finish your enemy off when suddenly... yeah... also if the turret is supposed to heal teammates, why does it deal more damage to enemies then when healing teammates?

Actually the worst thing about it is the range. If you're using Freeze you have no chance of winning against the turret which is supposed to be the one healing its teammates. Weird, isn't it?

2. Twins - There's no reloading, so in combination with an Isida it's almost unstoppable. It slow you down when it hits you, the handling of your tank gets a lot harder). No respect for this gun... I mean... let's just press SPACE and... yeah.

3. Smoky - Good turret, I hate it though. The critical damage isn't even the worst thing about it, the weapon just destroys aiming of any opponent.

Once again, my go-to tip here is return fire at the 75-85 degree area where the Magnums are. If they're in the usual spot where the blue team jumps off to cap then you don't even have to put power into it and you'll hit them. If they stand above the spiral ramp then get right under them and tap that spacebar. By doing this you can not only hit the Magnums but possibly the defenders as well since Magnum's splash damage is broken. Hope it helps!

on my lower account at Wo3, my m1 freeze/hornet kills isidas all the time.  If you can drive and turn your turret it is no problem to start freezing and circling them - even when meeting head on.  If I start off at side (or behind) they have no chance.

 

Twins with supplies on don't need an isida.  Since they have no re-load they get 100% use from DD.  It's ug-ly.
