World of Computers Acronyms

Every once in awhile, I'll run into an acronym, in relationship to computers, that I'm not familiar with. Recently, it was GIGO --Garbage in, Garbage out. Meaning, if the information you feed into a computer is in error, the information the computer gives out, will also be in error. 

 

What acronyms do you use often or had to look up, in regards to computers and their usage?

 

Please tell what the acronyms mean.

Not really, Maf's is talking about when you shut down your computer or how often you do this. While I presume this is talking about abbreviations like CD (Compact Disc) and their meanings.
