Hi players!

 

I'm sure those of us that go to school have Thanksgiving break this week, meaning they have no school this whole week. :)

 

​We don't want to just be playing normally, so I think we should have a Thanksgiving sale this week (or maybe just on thanksgiving day), so we could spice up our week. ;)

 

We should definitely have a new holiday paint and a whole Thanksgiving theme itself! :lol:

 

If TO will consider this suggestion, they better do it fast because it is only a few days away! :D

Not really. They acknowledge Christmas but celebrate the New Year, hence "New Year sales," not "Christmas sales."

Completely agree with Maf. I barely have a clue what Thanksgiving is (the only information I know is from American shows. AFAIK, it's to thank God for life and most families gather with a massive stuffed turkey for dinner) and basically only America celebrates it.

That's because major religious celebrations/holidays have completely lost their religious value. Christmas is all about giving gifts and Santa, whilst people who never come to Church come only then because they feel obliged to. Easter is pretty much the same, except instead of Santa, it's the Easter Bunny.

Basically, what I meant is, the purpose of Thanksgiving is religious (right?) and Tanki doesn't really endorse that idea because then they'll be forced to celebrate all religious holidays of all religions, then open the floodgates to accusations that Tanki discriminates, etc.

It's the only time "christians" go to church in their life. I'm not christian and I'm saying that people who aren't christian actually do not celebrate this holiday except for a day off from work or something. Plus, no one old enough to play tanki believes in Santa.

Maybe it's not religious and maybe it could be celebrated, but ideas for sales are still not accepted.
