A good idea would be to put them in missions, like hard missions.

 E.G 1000 exp in tdm/dm = 1 container.

Then it would make everyone be able to get one.

No, you are much more likely to get a "generic" item from the containers than a legendary. Developers won't release the exact percentages, but you can safely assume that the items in the list on the first page are arranged in order of rarity, from most common to rarest.

 

The values below are NOT OFFICIAL or accurate, but merely my personal estimate as to what kind of percentage each "tier" may have:

If you think about how many gold boxes are being caught by players of all ranks in all battles, having just 0.1% chance of getting Spectre paint means that 1 in 1000 containers will have it, meaning that if players are go catch a million gold boxes, that's a whole thousand players, who got Spectre for free. I wouldn't be surprised if the percentages are even lower than this.

 

If you recall April Fools day golds, there was a chance to get 50 000 crystals in a gold box, and only something like 5 total players got it. I assume the chance for Spectre will be the same.

 

My point is, don't be disappointed when the vast majority of the items you get will be one of the first 7 items. If you look on the bright side, it's still much better than just 1000 crystals   :rolleyes:

Hmmm, totally not liking that RNG, I still want to see official rates for these containers...otherwise statistically they arent feasable for me :v

• This certain other game is an AAA title that needs to be bought for a hefty amount of money in the first place, which is why adding microtransactions and lootboxes to force people to pay when they already paid to play the game resulted in such an outrage
• The loot boxes in that game were said to contain powerful characters, i.e. "P2W items". Tanki only has cosmetic paints
• Devs literally gave a full 3 days for players to get potentially unlimited free containers, so anyone has an opportunity to get these items.

That it's only cosmetic is a plus. But that the "containers" being purely luck based is the problem, especially for the people who won't stop until they get one of the paints. People have spend/wasted alot of money on "containers" or boxes in other games before, even if it is only cosmetic. I just don't want people to make the same decisions/mistakes here.

 

As for "legendary" paints, Red Suit might lose some of it's value. But Traceur doesn't.

Last year, I have written a post on containers. I am glad that this feature which players normally experience in Tanki X has arrived in Tanki Online for the first time.

 

Since this Flack Friday event is just limited by a few days, its good to experience containers with goodies for tankers. It does not matter that the shop containers disappear, but, however it is a good thing to have a black gold box.

 

A black gold box was suggested by Ghost_Animators who suggested that it would be a good idea to have a black gold box. I agree on his idea on such a black gold box.

 

For players to drop a black gold box, the default keyboard key would be the "7" key. The "6" key is for the normal gold box.

Just like the overdrive, the black gold box should become a permanent feature of Tanki Online.

I am mad because you do not have any discounts in garage and this game is Pay2Win..

 

But that paint and the gold boxes are so freaking coooool!!

Just do your daily missions and you will have everything you need to compete with the richest buyer. There's notiong I can buy in the shop to improve the gear I already own. Everything is MUed to 10 except backup modules and Ihave thousands of each (non-GB) supply. Buyers just get what they want faster.
