There was a Gold box supply glitch where it dropped a gold, but it didn't reduce the count in your supplies. Only 20-30 players were involved in it and received punishment. This is obviously different, thousands of players were involved. 

 

Yes because we did nothing to make the Golds drop. And they can't say we exploited it. We were supposed to just ignore all the Golds?

But the golds which dropped were  a part of a bug, which was exploited by many players including me and you. So, they still have the right to take away everything and if they do, then I am in full support towards them.

Except no one knew it was a bug for sure. If they put a notice saying "this is a bug don't exploit it" it would be different, but clearly that isn't the case. I first thought it was a prank by someone and once I saw that golds didn't give crystals, I ignored them and tried to just play the game. Only after the battle ended did I realize what happened.

This could be a nightmare for TO. They could roll back the servers a couple hours. But what about the people who paid cash for a crate and got something really nice.  Then teh rollback comes, the nice item is gone. TO can figure out how many crates to give back to those thatpaid cash.  But then they have to open them and get new random prizes. The chance the buyer gets that really nice item again is slim.

 

I hope that made sense. This will annoy he people they least want to annoy... their regular buyer customers.

I was in a Tribute CP and just made a circular run through the middle area, the building behind, and the trench and picked up about two hundred crates doing that. All while cycling through every color on the rainbow and pooping mines everywhere.

you people are so dumb they have to clear accounts bacause it WILL RUIN THE ECONOMY if they kept it tanki would shutdown in a week cause they wouldent make money, stop asking them for your stuff and be quiet. YOU WONT GET IT

 

Only maybe 10% of the players took advantage of this glitch. Lot of players actually sleep because they have school or work tomorrow. I don't think it would ruin the economy at a high level.

I think the smart thing to do it just make an official statement to all players to calm them saying what they'll be doing. I think they should do one of these things:

- Let players keep a portion of each section of gifts the boxes provided (Drugs,Paints,Golds,Crystals)

or

-Have the player the player choose which section they'd like to keep (and they'd lose all the other gifts)

 

That's what I think is smartest.

I think I was playing wiht you on Rio in CP...I was that pathetic Isida/Viking usually on the top of the buildings...I hope you weren't one of those nasty greedy Dictator drivers that kept pushing me off.   :)

I was a Dictator driver all right but I don't think I spent much time on the roof. Most of the golds I got were on the beach. :)

 

On the subject of how to fix this mess, I think Tanki can take away all the containers earned, and then give everyone, regardless of whether they entered the game or not, 5-10 containers so it's fair to everyone. Of course there will still need to be a way to reimburse the buyers . . .

I was a Dictator driver all right but I don't think I spent much time on the roof. Most of the golds I got were on the beach. :)

If it ever happens again my advice is to be discrete, head for the off corners, and especially leave mines through the tunnels where they don't go through a dropping animation. That means they respawn faster, are out of the way, and they're covered by mines.

Tanki it's okay to just  make everything go back to normal, 1000 crystal gold boxes and all. Just give me back my game! I wan't to play Tanki, not wait for a super long update that's taking forever.
