If you bought them with money you wont lose them, But if you login and don't find them just contact Tech support.

I think it is time to sleep now, It was fun while it lasted. In the space of 30 min I managed to snatch 63 golds and some very rare paints. Irdk if tanki will allow us to keep the stuff that we got legitimately, but in 2 hours I guess we'll find out

Hahah thx alot tanki 40k of cry 4 new special paints ( with Spectrum :D ) 500 drugs of each, 6 days of prenium and 5 golds :). But why does that server is taking 40 mins ? -_- That's really boring

I was a Dictator driver all right but I don't think I spent much time on the roof. Most of the golds I got were on the beach. :)

 

On the subject of how to fix this mess, I think Tanki can take away all the containers earned, and then give everyone, regardless of whether they entered the game or not, 5-10 containers so it's fair to everyone. Of course there will still need to be a way to reimburse the buyers . . .

Personally, I think the best thing for them would be to just leave it alone, don't roll anything back and call it a fair mistake.

 

Someone said it will ruin the economy of the game....not likely since there were only a few thousand players online and the game has tens of thousands of active players, probably a couple of hundred thousand active players.  The real problem is that is diminishes the value of the containers that they sold, but that could be easily remedied by refunding some of the cash, or offering some other sort of pixel compensation to the actual buyers.

 

But, in the real world, if you make a mistake as a business and your customer benefits from it, you smile and eat the loss...it is normal business.  With Tanki, they actually lose NOTHING other than inconveniencing a few electrons.  Only a short sighted petty company would take away what their mistake gave away.  They even advertised that there would be these crates dropped so if they roll back to before the black rain, they will be bold faced lying.  

 

I beleive (and hope for my greedy self) that they will just let itt go and allow everyone to keep the crates they fought for.

Let's all take a minute to be reasonable though. 

 

Imagine you spend 50 dollars a month on this game. The average person who logged on today just basically got what would've cost you over 300 dollars in one hour. 

 

Tanki makes money off its buyers; therefore they must accommodate whatever they do to their buyers as well. 

 

Also, the paints I think if less than 50% of tankers had the paint and you received it from the golds (collectors) then it should be removed. Don't think I'm saying this because I have no nice paints because I got Eternity, Red Suit, Nightmare, Red Urban, Rust, and Spectrum. So I would be losing something.

 

Any other ideas?

Again, I'm not blaming you. Some developers also have accounts and can post on the forum.

 

What I'm telling you is that it makes no sense to ask us to finish our battle when the game is already down for 35 minutes. Just tell us you had to shut down the server and that it will take 2 hours to have the game back.
