There was a glitch where goldboxes would fall on all maps every 5 seconds. People got a huge amount of free stuff, and now the devs are figuring out how to fix this mess.

I not against adjusting the gains players made during the gold rain but I would be annoyed with a complete reset. This seems to just replace one potential inequity with other I was hoping to make lt gen before the end of product kit sale and buy a M3 product kit from the shop. If they take xp I earned I don't think I be able to make it. On principle I would not then buy product kit for full price, as I effectively be suffering from tanki mistake. If technically possible I say let people keep 100% xp, 100% missions and battle rewards, 100% containers bought rewards and 25% crystals and supplies from containers picked up. Don't care about paints.

Oh dry up!  Do you complain when some people get into a tournament but others don't?  If Tanki has any class - any sense of fair play, any style at all, they'll just say, "oops" and let it go.  And NEXT TIME they'll do something called "TESTING", which, up to now, hasn't been of much interest to them.

I think it would be a good idea to let players keep crystals, supplies, and premium, but take away the rare paints. Even though many of us got lots of free crystals, I don't think it will break the economy much, as only a fraction of TO players were on. Getting buyer paints for free is unfair though.

I don't want to complain but i wasted a lot of drugs when i realized what was happening. 

 

I didn't open many containers because i was focussed on collecting the boxes before sleep.

I can't help what people buy or don't, but buyers and non buyers alike were given this opportunity.

 

I don't know what tank should do. But removing everything is surely unwise. 

 

Is there downsides to those who paid, and those like me who get spectra for free? Not really. People who are willing to pay are willing to pay. You don't pay based on what others get or do not get.

 

YOU want to get something guaranteed. It has nothing to do with what others get. 

 

Now might they refund some money? Not sure. Buyers knew they were buying. 

 

If tanki is smart, I think they will just sock this up. We keep everything. Containers stay. Opened containers stay. 

 

There will be sincere post to address what happened if smart.

 

Perhaps a more formal response in time about what to do about other issues like buyers who paid.

 

I think it just adds for those who got in and had boatloads of fun playing tank. Surely they would realize this. That there was a mistake, but it pleased their customers. No smart company after pleasing customers tries to turn that POSTIVE SPIN sour. 

 

I just don't see tank punishing us... quite honestly.

 

Many are on a great high now... why would tank sabotage that?

 

Buyers unless they just bought and never played saw what was happening, and are still getting compensation.

 

I am hopeful tank leaves us what we opened, our unopened containers will remain as well.

It's kind of strange though. If it was a programming error, the goldbox drop rate would have been changed (someone added an extra 0 by accident). But goldboxes are triggered by increases in battle fund, and during the event it seemed that golds would drop regardless of how often the fund increased. It makes me think this "bug" was an inside job . . .

Seems like it’s an extra loop, a logical error rather than the gold box drop rate. If you’re interesting in programming, basically it’s something like ‘exit when ‘i’ > 0’ but was supposed to be ‘exit when ‘i’<0’
