I saw four golds dropping in Deathtrack today, 10 in total, took two.

thats cool, because i saw 1 gold in around 10 hours of gameplay, not to mention i spent 2 hours multing in dm with 3 accs at same time so its almost 15 hours

Then it is cheaper to buy a couple of these boxes in the shop compared to wasting your time like that.

I don't get why some f2p players are calling this bad for non buyers.

Literally the only reason people buy containers with real money is because they want those legendary paints that have no impact on the game besides showing off. 

 

Sure you can also get supplies/crystals from it as well but for the same money buyers can just buy 10 times more supplies/crystals from the shop. 

Containers are just a bad/Micro-little version of p2w for buyers with some chance for some useless cosmetics.

 

 

 

 

ps: Traceur is still more legendary than all of those paints

i don't give a about this containers instead of 1000crystals goldbox because they are droping 1/25 k fund (polygon cp xp/bp space) and guess what :) 3 hackers jumped for it, of course all of them were M2. And now i will get a bann instead of hackers hahahahh ******ed game. not fun to play anymore so i don't care. but it' s a shame  that you can't stop 10 year old kids. best programmers i've ever seen XDDDDDDDDDD

Armin you're making me depressed. Eternity is my most wanted dream paint. And now there's an opportunity, I can't get it. Instead there's tons of hardcore buyers and a few lucky people who got it. While I pour my heart out to get a single gold, and inside is DD.

I'd be a lot more likely to buy these containers if they gave out free Mu steps or free m3s instead of these paints.

 

Clever way of tanki generating revenue without affecting the buyer-f2p balance by offering cosmetics instead of gameplay benefits.

I opened the crates and I had over 40000 crystals but then the next day they were all gone, including my 5 goldboxes and the power ups

 

Why did it all disappear? the money went back to before the opening of the packs

You got those containers due to a glitch, thus they were removed.

Played a lot compared to normal days. I saw like 4 or 5 goldboxes and took one (luckily) . But it is so hard to catch them especially with all these dictators and mults in battles. I hope others enjoy this Black Friday and catch as much as they can.

Well, a container cost USD1.49. I asked the tanki help-desk, they stated players wont get ban for changing country and buying(I doubt), but it is not encouraged. However, youtubers still do that, hence the price for some will be USD0.70 instead. Bringing us back to topic, MU-steps are not really that optimised. Even if we do get like 5 free MU, its too unbalanced. Players would of course freely MU the expensive ones( i.e paints last step of MU cost 300k(iNCLUDE SPEED UP). Wouldnt $0.70/$1 be unprofitable? Remember, tankionline is a business afterall.)

 

Secondly. Free M3s. I mean, at your rank with the autumn event mission chain, shouldnt it be easy for you to earn 100k and buy it during sales? Once again, a full price m3, 200k ++, its way too good of a deal to be at $1/$0.70. 

 

Overall, the containers are not that of a rip off. I bought USD46.75 of containers(Gave me 39 and first time buyer), and received USD247++ of items in return. (No rare/animated paints tho) . 

 

 

P.S I bought in my own country currency. Did not  use russia.

Any battle mode active? I guess not, every battle has hackers even legends are hacking. This whole celebration is a big joke drop rate is minimum and if by chance any drop they we have flying tankers.

 

Even if hacker got caught then they will get just 1 month ban and after that the stuff they got from container will remain in there garage forever.

Man, I'm quite bummed about this event. This is the overview of this event, from what I saw.

 

First, the moment the server restart occurs and the event begins, there's suddenly a gold box frenzy. Surprised, I joined in and I spent an entire 2 hours catching 206 black boxes. I got a bunch of cool paints, a truck load of crystals, and many, many drugs. When the anticipated server update struck, I did expect Tanki to remove a few things from our garages, but I didn't expect them to leave us with only one pity day of premium. That's two whole hours of playing, and five hours of waiting for one day of premium? I was quite shocked, but still was okay.

 

However, the next day when I tried getting those boxes once more, I (and many other people) realized a few things. First, it was that the gold drop rate was significantly decreased. I played 4 hours on Friday, 10 hours on Saturday and 10 more hours on Sunday, and all I saw was approximately 13-15 golds. Forget DM battles, those things didn't drop for 6 whole games, until I gave up and left. The one type of battle that seemed to drop approximately 1 gold per 1 or 2 games was the 100-point polygon CP xp/bp's. But, like many of us know, in those battles there will always be one or two people who will fly hack into those golds, and immediately leave.

 

There has also been an extremely noticeable increase in the number of mults in the game as well. Mostly every game will have at least some person who will pause, wait 1 minute 59 seconds before wiggling his/her tank a bit, and press pause again continuously, until they hear the siren of the black box. And of course, when that siren is heard, the number of tanks on the battlefield seems to multiply quite a bit, and goes from a few battle tanks fighting to a few battle tanks plus 5-6 dictators on standby.

 

Lastly, I want to address something that many of us veteran players are concerned about. Back then, when we were introduced to these “limited edition paints”, many of us bought them for the sole purpose of having a special paint in our garages. These include Eternity, Red Suit, and probably the most valuable of them all, Moonwalker. I don’t have Eternity, Moonwalker, nor any other “special legendary paints” mentioned by the event announcement, other than Red Suit. But just with Red Suit on the list, I felt quite betrayed by Tanki. I thought I was promised a unique paint when I bought that for 112 thousand crystals back then. I can’t imagine how it must feel for those who had Moonwalker, a paint that used to tell the world that you’re an experienced player. And now? All I see on my recommended list on YouTube is “Tanki container opening montage!!! Eternity and Moonwalker!” I understand that this game is a business, and buyers will always take priority to the developers. Honestly, if I was in their shoes I’d do whatever I could to get more money. However, I still wouldn’t throw away the special paints. I would respect them.

 

In the end though, after knowing Tanki for many years now, these things were quite expected, but I think Tanki requires some change in the system when it comes to these special events. I played a good 24+ hours during the event, and came out with nothing more than tens of thousands of experience and battle fund crystals... No containers. I'll probably take a break from this game now, for the first time in 4 years, since I discovered this game. I hope the Christmas celebrations and New Years will be a bit more controlled compared to this one.
