Solutions to the Black Friday Glitch

What happened today is a major accident that affects all tankers, from buyers to the non buyers. If you don't know what happened check the Black Friday in Tanki topic. And please go to that topic to discuss the glitch.

 

I'm opening this topic to compile the best ideas to resolve this accident, feel free to post your ideas.

Possible solutions:

 

- Open test servers for people to play while you sort things out. Take all the time you need to fix it.

 

- If removing items is not possible, add 10k EXP for every Black Box caught, and then break the Legend rank into many ranks. This to rank up those that benefited from the glitch.

 

- If devs prefer to compensate, they should give us the amount of containers to match the amount caught by the most who benefited from the glitch. 708 containers. Then remove Shop and Rare paints.

1 or few it is not enough if they choose to compensate players, they would need to give us all the amount we need to have 708 containers, like the amount of Gold Boxes caught by III-G-e-V-n-A-III, then maybe remove all the Shop and Rare paints.

For the sake of the argument I'm assuming that all the Gold Boxes caught by him contained containers, devs could investigate the exact amount.

Surprise surprise a glitch cant keep adding without upgrading servers, most of these so called upgrades are rubbish take the game back to the way it was it was more of an even playing field. as for this glitch if the player is at fault then ban them if its a game fault then the player got lucky and move on.

HANG ON! I have a groundbreaking idea! The devs could just... give us nothing. Literally no compensation for it.

 

Except they will give us something. A really good sale at some point, perhaps more x10 golds, to try and cover up for their stupid decisions. Its what they've been doing all along, after all. Days after the mission update? "Space mode is here to stay!" Days after the awful, awful unified battle list? "Incredible Halloween event!

 

But of course, a sale is no real compensation. It just gives us an opportunity to spend more on the game, thus increasing their profit. Their compensation for not letting us spend our money will be to give us another opportunity so to do.

The problem is that players that didn't benefited from the glitch are affected, because now they have a far weaker garage.

I can not believe that they can not solve anything without the players being able to get out of it. It's guaranteed that this game will not lose one player with this mistake now. I'm sorry for Tanki Online. It's a disappointment for not a single person :). Thanks to every player in my team who lost what they got from the black Friday Gold Boxes.

Looks like they are removing containers from accounts, I'm not sure if they are removing items from opened containers.

Nives said that they will remove items that came with the containers, if that is possible then it's just a matter of time for all to go back to normal. Let's wait and see if that is what happens.
